Epsons USB Plug 'n Play technology instantly projects images from a Windows® PC via a USB connection, allowing for easier set up and eliminating the hassle of dealing with bulky VGA cables and toggling between computer function keys
My laptop runs Ubuntu and it was so easy to add a projector. Just go into Settings, Screen Display. With the projector connected (VGA) it just appears as a second display. Libre Office Impress put my notes on the lap top and the full screen slide on the projector. If I encounter a new Epsom, can I still do this? Or, does USB plug and play work on Linux?
Use extended displays instead of duplicated displays. Basically just setting the projector to show ONLY what needs to be shown, while the computer's main screen is for the other stuff that is NOT to be shown at all to anyone but you.
