Hey howdy all. I want to share with you the basic setup, and some advanced tips for using the Minelab Equinox 800 metal detector in gold mode. I spent a winter in Arizona learning to use the Nox 800 for gold prospecting. Found a couple dozens little nuggets and pickers. But Colorado is a challenging place to detect. Takes all the tricks, and super patient work.
I didn’t know if I’d find a piece of gold while filming this tutorial at Cache Creek. But I lucked out. Found it, lost it, found it again, dropped it showing the camera, and found it again!
