Hi folks, I've been playing this classic by Jean-Michel Jarre for a while now and today I thought I'd make a video. It's not perfect, but I had fun working out the sequences and playing this one. I do hope you enjoy it. All the best, David 🎹🎶👍

We thought you were going into ''Dio's'' Holy Diver...in the intro. As crazy as that sounds ...it would have been different. John and I are always tickled to Happines when we are notified of your uploading Gems. We never heard of this piece... but it reminded Us both of great times when we lived in Mexico City in the 70's....when You as a Artist can make people remember the Great times in their lives..... Was it the rain and thunder? Very tricky timing on this one that took me quite a while to get right. And I had to listen to the original at half speed to work out the notes in the fast descending sequence! Thanks for another terrific comment and my very best wishes to John and yourself. @@DavidGordonJDXi Yes John ''the Metalhead'' says the rain and thunder intro reminded him of R.J.D.....he also wanted me to pass along that your process of creation...i.e..''listening @ half speed''....shows that care about making quality music.....and that You take pride in the Process...We wish today's Artists would follow your Lead.

I found that you can change the playback speed on RU-vid, it sounds a bit odd, but it helped me work out the notes in that short sequence. If you or John want to look me up on Facebook, you'll find me under my name and callsign G6ENN. All the best once again, David 🎹🎶👍

I'll have a go Paul, the sequences are quite straightforward but the melody has some tricky timing. The fast descending sequence had to be made separately as it runs at double tempo. Glad you enjoyed it and many thanks for leaving me a comment. All the best, David 🎹🎶👍

The half speed sound is quite distorted but the pitch is maintained which is very useful for working out the notes.

Hi Andy, I've just had a listen to it on RU-vid - no I don't recall hearing this before. You should have a go at doing it yourself, the patterns should be quite easy to copy.

@@DavidGordonJDXi Thanks for the reply David. I think I might take the plunge and buy one. I was brought up with the classics like JMJ, Kraftwerk, Vangelis etc, so I've also developed a bit of an ear for spacey trippy lectronic music 👽Cheers 🍻
