What is routine data, what are linked datasets and why do we need them in health and care research? How can routine data help address health inequalities and promote health equity? Who can access it? Professor Sarah Rodgers, an academic researcher, and Wes Baker, a strategic analyst in the NHS, have all the answers to the questions Katalin poses.
Equity Lens is a series of podcasts produced by the Health Equity Mainstreaming team at the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration in the North West Cost (NIHR ARC NWC). In this series, we'll hear from academics, members of the public, the voluntary sector and others across ARC's member organisations about their experience working on health inequalities and inequities and applying an equity lens to and through research.
