So... this video is NOT about actual model building as I promised last time and I am not making my own GB deadline, but... I will keep working on it and I will finish it. This video is mostly about stash adds from the Heartland Model Car Nationals contest in Kansas City, Missouri.

Looks like you got some nice stash adds, Grady. I had hoped to make it to the show this year, but wasn't able to... maybe next year! You sure had a hard week with the losses of friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and their families. My mother passed away ten years ago this past Thursday, so it was a hard time for me also. I had wanted to get in on your group build, but I didn't have anything in my stash that really fit the theme.

I appreciate being in your thoughts. It's definitely been a hard go. Condolences on your mother as well. Even though I didn't finish my own group build, I'm going to soldier on and I'm going to make it a yearly thing, so maybe next year.

Nice stash adds. I usually only take money I can spend to model shows. When I go to a show, I expect to find a few older kits I really want, along with new releases. I have some holy grail kits, but they are not really old kits. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Mike, thank you for watching all the way through. I really did only take money I could spend, it just could have been spent more wisely on other things. I was surprised that I didn't see a lot in the way of old rare kits.
