This level crossing is situated on the non-electrified Stony Point Line, which is a Metro operated service with V/Line Sprinter Diesel Trains. This line also sees Freight Trains headed towards the Bluescope Steel Mill, located in Hastings.
The crossing equipment used consists of:
- Westinghouse LED Lights
- Westinghouse and MK&H Crossarms
- Westinghouse 2nd Gen Hybrid M-Bells
- Westinghouse EB Boom Gate Mechanisms
- 2 Westinghouse Bases, 1 VR Base and 2 Unmarked Bases
This crossing has not been listed on the Victorian Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), so this crossing will be staying here for the foreseeable future.
