My papa used to sing me this song when he was still alive. This song used to be my lullaby, my papa sings it while scratching my back so I can fall asleep. I miss him, I miss his voice. I can't listen to this song at night anymore, because I always end up crying.
Naniniwala talaga ako sa mga signs. Humingi ako kay God ng sign na kung "sya na yung tamang tao, he will sing With a smile ng Eraserheads at the right moment and at the right time". The funny thing is nangyare sya with my second boyfriend when it is very stressful na ng life ko. Tumawag sya at kinausap nya ako. Yup, kami parin hanggang ngayon 10 years and counting. Kung nababasa mo to Papa Bear, I love you😊
Mark daniel macanas eto yung tipong music video na pinanood natin dati pero di pa natin naiintindihan yung mas malalim na kahulugan pero ngayon eto pala yung storya
"We were never friends. That's why we broke up," "We weren't Itchyworms. We weren't Parokya Ni Edgar. But you know, it was good while it lasted. We had a very, very good working relationship. It's just that, I don't like it when people say that." -Ely Buendia
The UK has The Beatles, as one of its most revered and patronized band; while the Philippines has the Eraserheads. Indeed, one of the best bands to ever emerge from the 90s band explosion, and on the tail end of the Philippine music industry's golden era.
@@sierrajohn7967 Kasi ang The Beatles ang pinakasikat na banda nung mga 1960s tapos Eraserheads ang pinakasikat na banda sa pilipinas nung 90s Kaya sila halos parehong pareho sila Kaya nga The Beatles of the Philippines ang tawag sa Eraserheads eh.
ITO YUNG PANAHON NA WALA KANG NAISIP NA VIRUS SUBRANG SAYA.IBA KASI PAG LUMAKI KA SA 1980s AT 1990S.DAHIL PAG PINATUGTOG ANG MUSIC NG NAKARAAN.ALAM AGAD PANGYAYAR NUNG DEKADA80S90S.pROUD PARIN AKO SA 2000S KID NA LIKE ANG MUSIC SA PANAHON NAMIN.
If only they were together until now. Oh well, nevertheless, the magic stays. Eraserheads will live forever. Guys, iparinig natin to sa mga anak natin ha? Bata pa lang sila, teach them the real meaning of music. That way, hindi na kakalat ang shit sa mundo.
@@bakalbato1000 in terms of success& popularity? etc...yes, kaya tinawag ang Eraserheads na The Beatles ng Pilipinas. I think Bloomfields more on tunog lang sila ng Beatles. :)
This song reminds me on how my boyfriend keep fighting for his life. "Lift your head baby dont be scard" ito ung lyrics na kinakanta ko sa knya sa tuwing sasakit ang ulo nia(brain cancer).. Pro sumuko na sia😭 Now its time to kiss those tears away and say goodbye Masaya na dn ako kahit papanu kci alam ko nsa piling na sia ni god wla na ang sakit at hindi nia na kelangan mki pag laban pra sa knyang buhay😥😥😘
u guys ever heard of sigur ros? Yes they're underrated but "GREAT".. let me emphasize on this.. every era has its greatness.. you guys are just too ignorant to notice it
+Klein Fletchers try to listen to this 'King Park - La Dispute'.. if this doesn't hit u with its rawness and passion, then you don't know the "GREATness" of a song.. it's not how the song sounded, but u have to dig deeper with its content - that's how u determine greatness
I also like your fellowmen Dewa 19 most specially their hit song Kirana, I also like your great singer Anggun for her song Snow on the Sahara. We Filipinos and Indonesian both have bonds in our culture and shared love for music.
Trust me, their songs will never die. It will continue across future generations. Songs that are made from love and passion will continue to live on because of the people who relive those experiences through the course of life. The story which they can always relate.
''You can't win at everything but you can try.' Low key nyang pinapakalma anxiety ko habang hinihintay ko board exam result lol. Shet! Sana pumasa para masabi kong ''Now it's time to kiss away those tears good bye!!"
Junide Lumapas did you sing "now its time to kiss away those tears goodbye" or " you cant win at everything but you can try"? Hehe. Hope its the former.
The good ol' times. Golden age of OPM. Iilan nalang masasabi mong tunay na OPM artist. Have a good day satin mga batang 90's
my friend will always play this whenever we hang out together with other friends. he was always happy or so at least i thought... rest in peace, harvey. suicide sucks.
He was suffering depression without anyone noticing, even his parents. Kaya keep in touch with your loved ones, guys. Rest easy, Harvey. PS. Yung TB is nakuha daw niya sa katrabaho niya dun sa Visayas. Umuwi siya sa kanila dito sa Mindanao at supposedly, babalik padaw siya dapat dahil may contrata siya sa company pero di na siya bumalik with him giving any reasons at all. He just stayed sa bahay nila hanggang sa lumala. Sabi ng kambal niya he was suffering TB(Tuberculosis) for 9 months until he finally lost the fight...

Ayon! Salamat!" "You'll get by with a smile" and... "You'll get along with a little prayer and a song"
1994.... I was 17 years old when this song came out. I'm almost 45 years old now and listening again to it just brought me back to good ole times! Walang computers, walang gadgets... just good listening music! I would go back if I could! One and a half years into this pandemic, I could absolutely say that I've seen better times! Classic! Just a tidbit :)
fell in love with eraserhead because my dad would play this song alot when i was little and as i got older he introduced me to their other songs and honestly this is my favorite filipino band ever.
This song and other Eheads and Rivermaya's and other Great songs made by Filipinos, really deserves to be noticed and heard internationally, like if you agree
To the one who sent me this song: Thank you for everything, the memories, the laughs... I'll always remember you. I know I'm not that significant to you but for me, you changed me... made me realize a lot of things. I know I'm not the one you want but I love you still, I guess I always will in a way. I guess this is the day I learned fully that you are really out of my life though I always knew you never really wanted to stay in the first place. I hope you live a good life. I hope you will find love when you need it. I hope you are always happy. R
I can still remember the first time I saw this music video on myx. I was so young. I haven't developed any love for music yet. But this song left a profound effect on me. With its mesmerizing melody and the gut-wrenching lyrics, I was intrigued and eventually hooked. Eraserheads are geniuses. Their music makes me happier more than anything in this world.
My 1st year highschool teacher Ms P, played a video montage of us (using this song), her students and the school year that we all shared memories with her. Soon after we were all bidding farewell, she just stood in the corner of the room, trying to fight in vain the tears rolling down her cheeks. The picturesque scene of her tearful farewell as she hugged me in unrestrained passion with no regard for convential appearances still haunts me to this day, craving for one more embrace that might never take place...
With A Smile is an example of a timeless song that makes the listeners invoke special emotions and create nostalgia moments. This is truly one of the OPM greatest songs ever.
Just 15 days left for 2022. But this song never fade together with the year. Seems it will lasts longer than any of us. Aaaaah. Chills, EHeads. You really can't wint everything, but this song win everyone's heart.
Lift your head, baby, don't be scared Of the things that could go wrong along the way You'll get by with a smile You can't win at everything but you can try Baby, you don't have to worry 'Cause there ain't no need to hurry No one ever said that there's an easy way When they're closing all their doors They don't want you anymore This sounds funny but I'll say it anyway Girl, I'll stay through the bad times Even if I have to fetch you everyday We'll get by with a smile You can never be too happy in this life 'Cause in a world where everybody Hates a happy ending story It's a wonder love can make the world go 'round But don't let it bring you down And turn your face into a frown You'll get along with a little prayer and a song Let me hear you sing it 'Cause in a world where everybody Hates a happy ending story It's a wonder love can make the world go 'round But don't let it bring you down And turn your face into a frown You'll get along with a little prayer and a song Lift your head, baby, don't be scared Of the things that could go wrong along the way You'll get by with a smile Now it's time to kiss away those tears goodbye Let me hear you sing it With a smile
Feb 15, 2021/9:00pm who's watching?
Walang kupas... According to Mr. Wiki, this single is regarded as one of the best made by a Filipino band, and is widely lauded by critics and fans alike.
This song bring me back to my teenage years and always makes me smile. No matter how hard life feels sometimes good times will come if you just keep living. Life is good! 😁
i’m here after reading the tragic and not-so-ideal but heartwarming story of troy and achi. and here i am hoping that someday, with God’s perfect timing, someone like troy will tamed the raging waves of mine too. ♒︎𝑒
I first heard this song when I was 6 years old, it captivated me at that instant. This is the first song I knew about Eraserheads and eventually I just fell in love with all of their music. The song is so meaningful it's as if there's really someone making me feel its message. I am 23 years old now, and still, this song soothes my soul which made me get through the tough times. All -time fav, and I think there's no other songs that will match this masterpiece
Now rewatching this as an adult, the music video (not the song) really feels like a soul's journey to the afterlife. Of course, directed by the genuis mind that is Ely. Their music and videos will really show you a different meaning of what you used to know about the songs. Malalim si sir Ely.
When I hear this song, I remember this girl I used to talk to, she always tells me her problems and when she's not alright. I was carried away by her later on cuz she's a nice person, so I played this on my guitar and dedicated this to her. Suddenly, we stopped talking when things got complicated between us, I don't know what she's doing now but I hope she will always be fine and move forward in life.
I remember I was 5 years old noong nirelease to tapos lagi ko siya inaabangan sa Channel V and I would cry sa doo doo doo doo part every time. Ah, younger days.
I was born at 2005 pero eraserheads is the best band for me.
Parang alice in wonderland lang yung concept.
