They didn't live together for 4yrs. This scene was a made up environment by eren to talk with mikasa inside the paths. The same way happened to armin and the rest.

It's a fake memory created to erase Mikasa doubts and regrets to allow her to kill him. This thing didn't happen it's not open to interpretation what you think is simply wrong because Ackermann memories cannot be modified. Eren can create a fake one/ dream he cannot remove a real memory like he did with the others just like Carl Fritz killed all the Ackermann because he could not make them forget. This is the truth period

He give his friends freedom yes but the outside world isolated his people due to titan powers. So what will happen if the world knew that Paradise alreadt knew the existence of people/cities beyond their prison island and they killed or took over the seaport built by guards to monitor them? It wont take long that the whole world will take the war to Paradise and Eren MIGHT not have known how to do the rumbling or was killed off first by possible sleeper spies.

No, originally he killed all 100%, but it's a loop, he then managed to reduce it to 80%, who knows, now he knows theres a way to disappear all titans, he might be able to stop it altogether at some point in a different future loop, isayama makes it seem like it's set in stone but it really is not, as we know he at least changed it once

That's the feeling I get too. The story was always not destined for a happy ending. Eren never changed as a character, so he ended tragically. People really just don't understand the story.

The rumbling doesn't happen in this timeline, idk why you thought it would. For the rumbling to happen Eren has to come in contact with someone of royal blood who isnt affected by king fritz's will. That's Zeke and in this timeline Eren and Zeke have only met once on paradis and no rumbling there. So if Eren and Mikasa stay out in the woods in some cabin in the middle of no where the rumbling cannot happen because Eren has the founding meaning yes he prevented the rumbling by just not doing it. Or more accurately it was Mikasa confessing her love that stopped Eren on the path to the rumbling.

Rumbling didn’t happen in this timeline, but Paradis was carpet bombed by the alliance killing everyone there

@@acecream1411 he says it at this part in the last episode, because he didnt do the rambling in this alternate outcome , Marley would attack paradise Island and kill everyone , therefore he did it to protect his friends and to make sure they gonna live the rest of their lives free and without having to worry about war, war still happened but after all his friends / Mikasa died from old age . also the reason he wanted his friends to be the ones that killed him is so they become the heroes that stopped him so everyone remembers em.

Eren choosing genocide as the only option is entirely because he's an idiot who couldn't come up with a better idea. Or the Author really wanted the genocide ending and came up with any excuse to go for it. Eren can stop any invasion for a long period of time by simply using the Rumbling to destroy the Allied fleet sent against Paradise. Remember, Paradis is an island nation. No fleet no invasion. With the fleet destroyed it would be a massive loss to every country that participated in manpower and resources to the point Paradis could probably sue for peace. In the time it takes for the outside world to build another invasion force or if peace was successful, use the time to fortify the island. Bunkers, tunnels, coastal defenses, mandatory conscription of all able bodied adults, 3d gear with guns and rpgs for everyone. Aerial bombardment is incapable of defeating an enemy alone. Tge US tried this for 20yrs in Afghanistan it failed, Isreal is doing this now in Gaza they still have to move in ground forces. Why? CAVES, TUNNELS, AND UNDERGROUND BUNKERS. Dig it deep enough not even bunker busters can touch you. Eren can create near impervious structures out of that titan crystal, use that to reinforce underground shelters. The founding titans powers: why doesn't he just remove the warrior's powers, then bestow them onto others after he's dead (via cannibalism) or better yet turn the entire Paradis Eldian population into Ackerman super soldiers. 3d maneuver gear, literally allows Paradis troops to bypass obstacles like barbed wire and land mines. They could mine the entire coastline with trenches, tunnel networks and abuse the fact their infabtry can simply fly over such defenses and harass any enemy that attempts to land on their shores. Make the island far too costly for anyone to want to invade. Eren should have given the founding and attack titans powers to someone far more capable like Armin.

Eren already stated he tried to change the events of the future but couldn't, he goes on to say that this vision was a what if. He had been stated that the Founder is looking for something out of all her descendants that being Mikasa. And all you're explaining is exactly what everyone knows. It's literally what King Fritz wants, he knew eventually that Marley or some other outside force would come to exterminate them. The most peaceful ending for this show is for the Eldians to just fucking die and you can't argue against that. They're the problem, and their extinction WOULD be the solution. But we got to know each character inside the walls and now we can't just watch them all get killed without feeling depressed about it. I think anyone who thinks this ending is a sham is just annoyed the show is over, it had to end. Armin using the Founder.. like what, it just gets the same results. If Marley and the other countries attacked Paradis then they'd just kill them or unleash the wall titans on them or an enemy country. Eren had the balls to put an end to a war that would've lasted thousands of years, with Ymir up the Eldians asses and the other countries afraid and hating the Eldians. It would never end, people are racist in real life over skin tone alone. And they still are angry over that 200+ years later. The entire concept of Erens premonition is simply put, a narrative vehicle to LOCK a character into a single course of action to achieve a specific outcome, no matter how foolish or avoidable it is. There are many ways for the Eldians of Paradis to survive an onslaught given preperation, their own unique technology and physiology, and clever uses of Titan powers; as I have already stated. The objective of which is to transform their island into a fortress that could easily bleed their enemies should they come to take it, to make "The Juice not Worth the Squeeze" No country no matter how much they Hate a group of people will risk a military slough to eradicate those people. A prime example is the current conflict in Isreal, a country surrounded by people and countries that HATE them and who have several times banded together to destroy it and lost everytime. Why? Because Israel puts a large amount of effort and funding into its military and defense to the point their army is Designed to fight a war on multiple fronts. With the current campaign in Gaza, both Iran and Hezzbolah (a large well equipped terrorist group with its own standing military to the north) have declared they will not be getting involved/attempting to invade Israel ON Hamas' behalf probably due to the cost outweighing the rewards. Back onto my main point, I say all this to illustrate that their are multiple solutions to the problems that Paradis faces, but the Author chose genocide. The author gave Eren the ability to forsee the future for the sole purpose of justifying genocide as the ONLY option. Eren the character who has fought for freedom his whole life, is not a Slave to Freedom, but a Slave to Fate/Plot. Taking away all of his agency as a character, to achieve this ending. There's also another motive by the author, he wants the Genocide ending to happen no matter what but also for the perpetrator (the main character, Eren) to be sympathetic to the audience. The author wants us to sympathize for the genocidal madman, because it wasn't his choice. That ruins Eren as a character, as every choice and action he made after discovering that power was all for the sake of plot. It was not driven by his own needs or wants but by the driving force of Plot. Eren as a character no longer drives the plot, but is Driven by the plot to an end the Author wants.

I actually think they drew their faces really nicely in this scene, it's just that the body proportions were kinda weird, like Eren's neck 💀 But I still think that this is one of the best moments when it came to how well they drew their faces. I also think when Eren asked Mikasa about his feelings for him in Marley is when they drew them nicely as well

because the future is already determined, and Eren can only play his "role". he doesn't really have the power to change anything. it's like to see a movie about your future, and get to know everything, and being unable to change a thing. why can't you change it? it's hard to answer, but from my point of view, Eren wasn't alone in control of everything. the power of the founding titan was controlled by three forms of "will": eren's, ymir's and the parasite's. although Eren didn't want to kill innocent people and die, his desire to crush everything, and ymir's desire to be free from her love for king Fritz, and also the desire of the parasite to keep living attached to humans, all of that determined the future. When Eren saw everything, and had years to think about all of that, he changed his mind (you can see he relates himself to Reiner, and considers the people from outside world normal just like the eldians from Paradis) but he couldn't change what was already fit. the founding titan lives the past, the present and the future simultaneously. so everytime we see him, we just see partially of what he's living. he's at the same time sending the smiling titan to his mum, his talking through Kruger, he's fighting Armin... It's complex, but I always come to this interpretation

"Anime things" is the answer. One of those stories where you can say that a character definitely didn't have to do some stupid shit; but, if they don't do the stupid shit, the audience doesn't get their story. No story. No anime. So...Eren or the writers have a dumb scenario play out lol AoT ain't the only anime where dumb stuff like this happens.

I think he uses the founding's power to talk to them in the past and then he makes them forget everything. That's why they remember all those conversations after Eren dies.

Unfortunatly this is one of the things Isayama rushed , but he kinda of gave an explanation . 1) It was stated that Ackerman can't have their memomries erased not that they are immune . Infact everyone except Levi and Mikasa, they had their conversation before on the boat while these two they had it in real time 2) The few headaches Mikasa had during the series , it was stated by Mikasa herself it was Ymir trying to contact Mikasa through the Paths . Even during final battle Mikasa had a haedache , because Eren through the Paths told Mikasa where his head was . Now here comes the rushed part ... we don't know why Ymir failed to go in Mikasa head and Eren succeded. Love maybe ? Because I think Mikasa was more spiritually connected with Eren then Ymir. You took the words right out of my mouth. I loved the series up till season 3, but was so disappointed with the final season. It was such a huge shift in the story telling that if I had known about it when going into the series, I don't think I would have watched it at all. I enjoyed the crazy apocalyptic titan world vs the more realistic WW2 era setting. Though that is just my preference. The ending did feel rushed as well. I totally agree with the Naruto comparison too. Not just about Eren being revenge obsessed like Sasuke. Mikasa pines over Eren the entire series just as Sakura does for Sasuke. Neither boy shows any interest in them even when they find out they like them. Then, by some miracle, both boys return their feelings with zero explanation. I don't care who Eren ends up with in the series, but if you're going to write a romantic subplot, you need to at least show BOTH character's inner thoughts. We never get any information from Eren as to why he suddenly loves Mikasa. At what point in this series does this change? What was it that was the trigger? What does he like about her? It's just basic romance writing 101.

The plot of where the Titans come from is such a huge focal point of the story that, if you're aware of it, how can a viewer go through this anime twice? I don't think this show has replay value in the same way that Spirited Away, Lord of the Rings, Shrek, etc., have.

The Eldians on Paradis would spread out to a world theirs for the taking, and not to soon, you'd have new budding settlements, then towns, then cities, and eventually countries, which would demand independence from Paradis, and you can imagine where things would go from there. Can't kill what makes our species so insidious that easily.
