This came out two years before I graduated high school. Both versions were popular [at least in S. C.], so some of the radio stations would play both versions close together. Loved it then, love it now.
I kinda wondered why the English version was mixed to MONO, as the Spanish version was properly mixed to a VERY BRILLIANT WIDE STEREO. Well, I guess Mocedades needed the English version to mixed in a quick jiffy...so they called in PHIL SPECTOR, you know, "Mr. Back To Mono" Man! (Of course, to the MAJOR CHAGRIN to the one member of Mocedades, who originally came up with the album's concept!) NO, WAIT A MINUTE...I must be thinking of some UK band, with a bass player, who also played the piano! As Gilda Radner once said, "NEVER MIND"...!!! BolsaChicaRadio
