Agreed. I've sung down to Bb next to Eric on a few occasions and it is pointless - all you do is add overtones.

His voice is very bright. However if you hear clearly, theres a lot of overtones being produced in his voice,which is indicative of having large vocal cords.

Normal, it's because is so awesome.

Because Eric, and a few other have the legit fundamental notes. So many , especially those who 🎤 are frying or using overtones and a sound engineer to get there.

@@luscao8444 The heaviness of the sound, you may notice that singers have different “weight” to their sound A great example is a pitch drone. This is a nearly pure tone with a ton of frequency and little to no overtones. This makes the frequency feel “heavy” due to the pure pitch being presented at a louder volume than the overtones. You can still have a great amount of overtones and fundamental frequency but that’s generally my analogy Now, moving that aside, if you listen to multiple bass singers, on mic or not, you will notice some singers have a heavier and beefier tone (i.e. Eric Alatorre, Glenn Miller, KC Armstrong, etc) than some others (i.e. Jeff Chapman, Matt Fouch, and most other Gospel singers, etc.) Keep in mind that all of this is off microphone so there is no microphone to artificially boost the bass. That’s all!
