When you look at Eric's cd Chief, it gives credit to Casey Beathard and Monty Criswell writing Like Jesus Does. When I Google - who wrote Record Year it directed me to Song Facts. It shows that Eric Church wrote the song with his long time banjo player and guitarist Jeff Hyde.
I liked the interview.He was there to talk and answer questions,not perform a concert.The people were there to see an interview not a concert.Maybe they just wanted to be respectful and hear what he had to say.
