EC: "The song was written about the situation between me, Nell (Pattie Boyd), and George (Harrison). It referred in part to her response to the news that George was getting married again. She took it quite hard, and I, in my arrogance, found that hard to understand. So I wrote this song about the peculiarity of our triangle, which finishes with the words _If I gave to you a golden ring, Would I make you happy, would I make you sing?_ "

What a great song. We’re witnessing the last of a dying breed. God’s still kicking.

Great to see EC's hands firm and fingers flexible on the frets; voice strong and clear, every note completed...I prayed for his recovery and I'm pleased to see that God's Blessing is still upon this man. It's a beautifully captured video, a tremendous production to a timeless song.... the Legacy continues... thankful for the joy and happiness this remarkable man has brought us.

I’ve seen Eric 46 times. He’s Magnificent & I adore him. When I watched him Live in concert. I’m old he’s just a little older than me. I would never put a strain on him. He’s making breathtaking and I play his music every day.

Eric’s voice is way underrated. He’s so fantastic on guitar it overshadows his other obvious talents. He will be greatly greatly missed when he’s gone. I really hate to even think of a world without a person like Eric Clapton who has been a part of my life now for 50 or more years. Thank you and God Bless you Eric for sharing your God given talents with a world that often doesn’t deserve it.

Edit: Mr. Clapton has made the situation right with this widow in Germany and will not be accepting any fees awarded by the court and he will also not be accepting any damages awarded by the court either. Thank you, Mr. Clapton for doing the right thing. All I’ll ever remember Eric Clapton for is suing a German widow over an eBay listing a CD her deceased husband bought in the 80s and Eric Clapton also forced this poor lady to pay his legal fees too. Real class act, bro.

Can't tell you how many of his albums I have worn out over the years or the number of times I re-read his autobiography for inspiration and resolve. I recently battled cancer and won and his Pilgrim album was played over and over. Love you man!!

I love Clapton, his music, his musicians. And I never get tired of listening to it, it encourages me to continue learning to play the guitar. I was lucky enough to see it live on three occasions, Madrid and Barcelona, ​​and few times I have enjoyed it as much as on those three occasions ...
