Great audio!
Played this concert for my Dad as was in Palliative Care for Stage 4 Lung Cancer. He passed during towards the ending of Layla. He was musician and a performer so it was fitting. When Cocaine and Crossroads hit I knew he was free and jamming out with all his friends again. Till next time Dad. 28 Jan 1949 - 23 July 2023 01:12am
RIP...that was a very very good idea of you! My wife died 2019 for cancer. It was so awful and sad. Thanks for life and that we could live and hear these absolut Highmusicians Work!! Thanks God for Time to play Music.. God bless you my dear.. Grets Holly from Germany
The band: Doyle Bramhall II (guitar) Chris Stainton (keyboards) Abe Laboriel Jr. (drums) Willie Weeks (bass) Sharon White & Michelle John (backing vocals
Pure blues and sound quality magnificent love EC for his sticking to what he does best purest sounding blues anywhere man he blows away the competition in pue sounding quality blues ...no body better...his singing has come along way totally enjoyed his ability to sing the pieces here and especially his tributes to George Harrison were perfect ...
So, so, so true there Darius; every single word that you say..! He has taken God's gift to him, and honored it by application, to work to get as good a guitarist / musician as he is; and he has applied that to his signing voice in the same manner. May God continue to bless the man..!
Abe shows that you DON'T need a dozen drums in front of you to be awesome and Doyle proves that you have to be slightly mental to string a guitar that way BRILLIANT
what a super concert, Eric played lights out,the selections were great, camera shots perfect on his playing/others playing, would have loved to been at this one. His George Harrison cover was so great....damn,this was a nice find.
I miss my first girlfriend... We are happy. I had a family and everything... more than 15 years later and here I still find myself thinking about her... in the pure relationship we had and so much love.
For nuanced playing right across the fretboard, to build a solo from quiet beginnings into a climactic ending where the audience know where you are heading and are willing you with each and every note - I Shot can't be beaten.
@@hemmohoving2558 Anibal is just responding to the old publicity way back when, about Mr. Clapton. I don't think these discussions about music and singers are anything to do with religion as far as most peoples comments. Why do so many people have to add negativity to something that is so beautiful and wonderful. Great music in my opinion is truly magical. We all are entitled to our beliefs but I don't think they belong on here. DO you really? I just love and adore all the talent and am so grateful that at soon to be 75 years old he still performs for us, and is just as great as ever. OK, no argument at all. Just saying.....enjoy and be grateful for the beauty without adding negativity!
