This was powerful and stirring. I lead a youth organization in Jamaica called the Love March Movement, that stands for family and sexual purity; we are standing for biblical values and truth. The entire western church needs to hear this message. It’s not just the letter to the American Church, it’s the letter to the Western Church! Things have gone really badly in America, Europe and Canada, but the Caribbean and Africa still have a chance to stand against these cultural evils before they take root. If by chance you see this message Mr. Metaxas and the Lord stirs your heart, we would love to have you in Jamaica. Many Blessings! Keep waging a good warfare!

I did not listen to the entire thing but I did listen on a podcast with Turek where he is saying that pastors like Piper and MacArthur are saying to only preach the gospel and nothing else. Preaching the gospel is the most important aspect of our Christianity but that is without the neglect of other aspects. Eric needs to understand that pastors like that believe that God ordained before the foundation of the world slavery, rape, Hitler etc. they are calvinists who get it terribly wrong.

Question, I’m not sure if I get your point so correct me if I’m wrong but if God doesn’t at least allow bad things to happen then why did Adam and Eve take of the fruit, Cain kill Abel, Christ to be betrayed, why did he allow the Nazis to exterminate 6 million of his Children? What I’m saying is if you don’t acknowledge that God allows these things to happen then you’re undermining his Grace, his Power, his mercy, and his Purpose for the world. (Proverbs 16:4, Roman’s 19:14-18). With that said it’s good to see another member in Christ on RU-vid.
