@@demonicsweaters totally different rooms… studio sound vs live audience. Of course your sound is going to be different. Eric is a chop god and his magic is in the details, ghost notes and technique, which cuts more and sounds brighter with the older Zildjians he used to play, especially on his hats and splashes. The sweet Ks he used to play were amazing, full and a viable difference. To each his own… I miss the sound of his Zildjian setup.

What is the criteria for current best drummer in the world? Eric has to be in the running. I am not a drummer so a question I have is how long does it take someone like him to get used to different setups. This isn’t the setup he normally plays - is that a second snare where the second Tom would normally be?
