This song has been super healing for me, as much as it is heart wrenching, and the music video makes it feel that much closer to my heart. Crying soo much right now 😢 😢 😭 . Beautifully done. It's so relatable there are days I wish I wasn't me too and Often more times than not I put up a front so my family will not know my real feelings. I am usually the one they vent to, but I have no one to vent to. I have a diary i write in that helps tho.

NGL, I'm a huge fan of Eric, caught all his concerts in NYC, jammed to every track. Surprisingly, this one hit differently, got me shedding a tear. I live in NYC, the feels hit hard with all the challenges in the NY scene these days, hustling as an asian immigrant and looking out for my folks at the same time. Navigating this concrete jungle exposes us to hate crimes, whether on the streets or in the subway, and you never know when life might throw a curveball. Sometimes, I find myself thinking and tbh, if only I could be someone else, I wish I wasn't me, then maybe I could secure a safer future for my fam.' But reality bites, gotta roll with it and life in general and stay vigilant, and cherish those safe moments. No cap, I wish things were different, and I wish I wasn't me. ❤❤❤peace out!
