Article 7 of the Constitution of Kenya is discriminatory. Kenya does not only have 3 languages as stipulated i.e. English (Foreign Language), Kiswahili (Foreign Language) and OTHER LANGUAGES (Java, Python, CBC++, Chinese, Russian, Haitian)... What is the work of National Human Rights Commission of Kenya, Law Society of Kenya, Judiciary, Parliament, Senate... 14years later we are waiting for EU, WorldBank, FAO, IMF and others to tell us that we Kenyans are not OTHER LANGUAGES AND CULTURES but Tribes with dignified names, languages and Cultures which must be named in the constitution like the Indian Constitutions Schedule 8 that lists 22 languages of India.

Kenya should have 47 MP's, 0 Governors, 349 MCA's. Kenya is half of Texas, U.S under a Governor but more productive. Ruto should also know that "we - the people" are the landlords of the state house and we decide who to be in that office.
we were even doing ok with six province's. USA has 50 states, each led by a governor. one state in USA is like kenya alone. so why should "Kenya state" have 47 governers while an entire continent has only 50? are we trying to implement things that do not work for us because others have? devolution can still work even with less counties. Eric as I agree with you , there issues contained in the constitution that the president has nothing to do about like no.of governors/seneters, women rep , except through referendum and remember the chc and the current president discovered was not good for the country but know happened..
