I'd love to see a complete comparison of the MTH and Vision Line Big Boys, even if it wouldn't be a "fair" comparison. I read somewhere that the back cab part of the MTH model is enclosed while the Lionel one is opened, which I thought was kind of interesting.
Hi Eric, Sorry to hear about your surgery hopefully you feel better soon. Two questions do you like Lionel trains or MTH trains better. And my second question is do you like steam engines more or Diesel engines more. Great video and extremely nice engines can't wait to see them.🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
I love Lionel so much. But I was blown away by this whistle. I mean the way the steam reacts and acts to the quilling is just......fantastic. MTH is now giving Lionel some competition.
Honestly, sometimes I get jealous because of allthe cool trains you got Eric. I really like that MTH Big Boy that you got! It look AMAZING! I would get it but its way too expensive and it wouldn't fit my O-36 Curves. Maybe one day in the future. And I hope you recover soon Eric, that was some surgery that thay did on you.
I must add that you have a very most understanding wife. I go into sticker shock when I buy a new, or used loco piece for my larger scale. The Bride, believe it or not, has her own O scale gear. Looking forward to bringing home some of this newer stuff, someday. I reeled when I saw that car-full of goodies sitting there waiting for you. Looking forward to the reviews. My brother in law had that done a few years ago. Then it had to be redone when the cadaver bone broke. Then he had to get some scar tissue cleaned up. Three surgery trips. Probably due to high school football. He's also had lower spine surgery. And now he needs shoulder surgery. Ladder incident, of course.
Hi Eric - Take care of the neck, I always enjoy your field trips, Great sounds on the store demo. The store demo on the MTH, WiFi is the best to date on You Tube. Like the soft keys. This was so good, I will have to come back and watch it again. I did the 5.0 upgrade to my controller, but I am waiting for St. Joseph, Michigan to finish the advanced APP. From the Great State of Michigan. There is also talk in the Apple World, that Sept. 2016 - The MacBook Pro and Air will have a touch screen to load APPS to from the iPads. OMG! I watch your videos, from time to time and realized watching you on the car ride "Eric got a nice haircut". Man, you have been through hell with the surgery and am glad you are back at your work. We always find your reviews informative and the layout is a great teaching device to us less talented. Looking forward to your improved health and vigor. My wife and I, she is the one in the profile photo is my wife, just bought a home with a great train room and space with a nice home under it. Haircut is great and really suits. Enjoy your "Prewar" purchases, as well.
Eric. I have a old TTTE Loco model from a while back, and I need help fixing it. It won't run but everything seems fine. I have checked it and it has power going through it. Any ideas on what is wrong?
