Thank you for taking us along for a wonderful anniversary. My husband and I just celebrated our 50th in Hawaii. Never taken a cruise so it was fun to celebrate with all of you. Greatest admiration to you ,Nate, for your great reporting. ( and Erica for her support and input. )
I was glad Nate that you were able to have a video for us. I’ve been missing you I think the trip was awesome and you deserve it after that trial was such a drain on the body and soul. You and Erica were able to take a little mini vacation without the kids that must’ve been wonderful. It’s still on my bucket list to go on a cruise I’ve never been. Looks like y’all had fun.

I’m an introvert and I love cruising. The ship Nate was on has lots of quiet spots to enjoy the view or a book without being interrupted. I never go to the pool area for the events the ship organizes. I do like people watching so I booked a Promenade cabin that has a big bay window overlooking the “Main Street” of the ship called the Royal Promenade.There is a 24 hour cafe on the Promenade where I took my granddaughter for pizza or sandwiches or fruit or milk and cookies--all free, of course. If you want to walk the deck for exercise, views, and to breathe the sea air, you can do that alone. There are plenty of ways to enjoy alone time on a cruise.
A Holiday (Anniversary) well deserved... I cried, thanking Heavenly Father for all Mankind's Blessings... My Abuelito (Grandfather) came from Silao in 1926, my mother, the youngest, born 1936 in America. Being First Generation, I am thankful for my Papa bringing his Family almost 1000 miles, on foot with young children, to El Paso, TX. What a Wonderful Experience Your Family Had! You both look so happy and I love that! Good food and family. They really keep you busy and the ship is gorgeous. A band and people dancing everywhere you turn. You looked so rested after your acupuncture session Nate. I had a broken ankle years ago and when I asked for acupuncture, I actually fell asleep on the table. Boy it felt amazing! Bingo sounds like so much fun. My gramma used to take me to bingo at her Assisted Living Home and I had to quit going because everyone I win every time and the rest of the people who went got mad at me. The seals reminded me of San Francisco that I miss SO much! Your smiles are priceless and your mom and dad are so cute Nate. 50 years!!! Here’s to many, many more years of hugs, kisses, hand holding and spending time with your kids and grandkids and great grandkids, cuddling watching a movie, and many more wonderful memories to come. Wow looked like so much fun. You like to do what our family loves to do. See new places try new foods and experiences. Well you definitely needed that times ten for all the really hard moments during the trial and doing all that work for us. You really brought us there when it really seemed people didn’t want it out. 😂One thing I didn't say was enjoy that your parents are still here to celebrate their 50th. What God said in His word about Mary when she was watching Jesus growing up and as a young man. She watched and hid the memories away in her heart. Then when they are not here and the sadness is gone you can take the memories out and be blessed all over again. Thank you for being such a good reporter. I'm from Oregon but was born in Boise. I think that's why I enjoyed your coverage so much. Enjoy the cruise my friends.

Congrats on "50" to the Eatons. Looks like you had a much needed getaway. So glad you didn't decide to go on that horrendous South Carolina cruise that had weather 'issues'.
Cruises are the best. I've been on 2, one with my family when I was 15. We went to the Caribbean for 7 days and one by myself when I was 27,I went to Mexico for 7 days on Carnival. You meet lots of people, great food and cheap drinks, dancing so much fun when you're single. It'd be fun for couples also, but for me, at that time of life, I was single. Have a great week, Nate.
