I like the thought of it being 2 separate realities, but I think the 2 perspectives is Erick chasing his older self, hence the last scene where Erick is standing outside the same car that was chasing his other self at the beginning . The song also talks about changing you mind set, etc. I like your take though

I feel like meech, juice and eric all dropping solo albums the same year is literally like winning the lottery for a die hard fbz fan . It’s a dream come true for me .
