Erik battled leukemia in recent years. He had a bone marrow transplant and claims to be cancer free but is working on building his immune system back. Dolly wrote the song for Porter Wagner. She got her break on his show. Porter wasn't happy when she decided to leave the show. Dolly's version is much more personal.

You learn a lot of things on RU-vid. Yeppers. Dolly wrote this song and was the first to record it. Her version is all Dolly. Whitney's cover she recoeded for the movie the Bodyguard. Erik sang this similiar to Whitney cover. Erik was amazing❤❤❤❤
