This is really great to see. Being quite on the spectrum myself and feeling like i often can't be honest with potential partners, it is cool to see Rick comfortably honest with his gf and her understanding it and being secure enough in herself to not need certain things from him.

In my experience alone, it seems like people today don’t consider not telling someone something as lying. Like if you say to your partner you’re going into work, and really you’re stopping in work for a second… but really the point of that trip was to meet you’re coke dealer outside the bar on that side of town by your work.

I’m a post op trans woman who found Ricks podcast from his episode of Trash Tuesday and I’m a big fan now and listen on my horrible commute on the nyc subway. I think I have some extra insight on this trans disclosure convo happening. Speaking only for myself I disclose on all of my dating app profiles because I don’t want to be with someone who isn’t fully accepting of who I am and my past. but when I am out at a bar or club and guys approach me it’s a way more complicated thing because sometimes it’s not even just about the actual intercourse some guys feel you should disclose even before kissing or making out and I just don’t feel it is necessary because sometimes disclosing at any point in the connection even before sex or kissing in a public situation especially where drugs or alcohol is involved could lead to violence against me. I also feel like this also stems a little bit from homophobia/transphobia because this is insinuating that you aren’t kissing or sleeping with a woman and that I am a man trying to trick you into being attracted to me which is not the case I am just a woman and you are a straight man who is attracted to me. Usually when I meet someone out it’s not going to lead to a long term loving committed relationship and it is just a fun pleasurable fling and the guys seem to be very engaged and turned on and I have had sex with guys and not told them but I have also never seen them again after. I’m not going to have this uncomfortable disclosure conversation with every man who approaches me out in the world. Sometimes you just want to sip on a cocktail grind on a dick and make out and fuck and not have to constantly out yourself to every guy.I feel like the phrase ignorance is bliss is sometimes the best scenario. If I give you sex and get you off and I make you feel like a big strong man then just accept it and move on?? This means any man reading this you could have had sex with a woman in your past who is trans and you may never have known maybe it is you guys who need to stop rushing into sex and actually get to know the women you are sleeping with if you are pressuring me for sex and I give it to you and you find out later that I’m trans that is on you but if I’m pursuing a guy for a long term relationship and I don’t tell him eventually that is on me. This convo is extremely nuanced.

Ricks dad looks like Jon Bernthal, Erik is the most likeable person on the planet, Betty is a natural, and rick made my stomach hurt laughing again.

I'm a lesbian so I can't speak for trans people but from what I witnessed on this subject from being in the LGBT community is most people in the community believe you shouldn't have to disclose your trans to your sexual partners. I disagree with that. I think you should disclose your trans to your sexual partners. But to anyone else I don't think you should have to disclose your trans. It's nobodies business other than you and your sexual partners. But that's just my opinion.
