I couldn't have put it better. Perspective is everything! We have absolutely no idea what this is like. We are complacent in our lives. Almost none of us in the US have ever had to face a situation like this, military, their contractors and missionaries excluded. We have never had to live with bombs exploding outside our homes. We've never had to take to underground shelters because another government is trying to annihilate us. Yes, horrible things have happened here like on Sept 11, 2001, but NOTHING like what goes on in so many other countries around the world. We are basically safe from foreign threat. We are destroying ourselves from the inside out while places like Ukraine (and Afghanistan, since no one really talks about those terrorized souls anymore). I don't even know all the places where the people live in fear every day. I can't begin to imagine what it's like to live that way. And I absolutely don't want to know. But like one lady, Olena I believe was her name, said in an interview....they don't want our condolences, the need our help. They need physical military help. If their citizens can arm up, like ours say they would simply against a different political party, to literally save the lives of as many of their people as possible -- why can't they get help? Why don't we send troops instead of money? What good is money if the supplies can't get to them. Guns, missiles, ballistics...those are all fine and dandy. But when there is no one to use them, what good will they do? What good does it do to say we will send $350M to them of they can't even get food because they are in underground bomb shelters? What about medicine to keep them alive? Maternity hospitals, nurseries and schools have all been targeted. These are just everyday working people like you and me. They didn't ask for this. But they will fight back. They ARE fighting back. God be with the people of Ukraine who believe in their country, and in themselves, to fight for what is right. I hear people say prayers don't do any good, but I don't believe that. I CAN'T believe that. Please pray for Ukraine!

If I need to in order to help protect more vulnerable people than me, I certainly will do it. But at least I can do while walking around, freely, not waiting for a bomb to explode over my head.
