@@puppycatsbee i understand what you’re saying, but the office characters although “weird” have grown on everyone watching the show. erin joined in after a few entire seasons, so if she didn’t fit in it would be pretty noticable, whether she was normal or not. she’s just a really good character and is played really well by the actress.

Definitely. I stopped watching in season 8 when it originally aired. Came back for the finale though. Right now I'm going all the way through the whole thing, and I remember why I stopped watching. I've pushed through it this time, but Erin stood out above probably every other character. It's kind of a shame we got so little Michael-Erin time.

Right?! Michael and Erin together were great! Their relationship worked so well because Erin’s personality already worked great with Michael and on top of that, she sees him as a father figure and that adds a lot of heart and meaning to their relationship.

You might be right but I can’t bring myself to watch any of them. I stop watching the office at the end of season 7 with the introduction of the super annoying Will Farrell. That actor is the definition of unfunny cringe despite a few good hits like Anchorman and Blades of Glory. Series should have ended with Michael Scott as everyone says.

@@KevinOnEarth_ Definitely. I actually find it a bit tough to handle anything beyond season 5 in all honesty. The "jump the shark" moment for me is Jim & Pam's wedding. There's a severe quality dip after that. And it definitely falls off a cliff when Michael leaves.

The scene in season 9 where she was reunited with her birth parents made me cry, hard. I feel both Erin and myself are neurodivergent, but she had a home to return to. I LOVE Erin, I don't understand why some fans don't. 😅 She's funny, she's cute, she allows for the writers to get a bit goofier AND she added a great layer to Michael's own arc where he becomes this sort of dad figure for her, which got us some rly heartwarming scenes. ❤

There are other two great moments of Erin: her first halloween costume is a zombie mask and her usual clothing and the other one is her reaction when Dwight becomes manager, she celebrates a lot, she was very happy for him!
