The first part about writing in pencil followed by typing is fascinating. I will start this process because subsequent drafts are inevitable. I was told once by a writer that most writing is just rewriting. About finishing with a cliffhanger when writing is also interesting. Write on average 500 words per day & than stop.

Understandable, but he's inimitable. Many have tried and come up short. In any case, don't wish that you could write like X, Y or Z - wish that you could write more like you 🙂

Write. Stephen King goes for 4 clean pages a day, so he says a few hours work, book done in a few months. Just write

I set an egg timer to 15-30 minutes. Then l write . When it dings, l finish if l can and then go back and review. I know it sounds silly, but it really helps me focus.😊
