Ernest William Sigley (2 September 1938 - 15 August 2021) was a Gold Logie winning Australian host, radio presenter and singer. Known as a pioneer of Australian television, he was often styled as a "little Aussie battler" with a larrikin sense of humour. Sigley's family announced in October 2016 that he had Alzheimer's disease. He was 82 years old.

I enjoyed watching In Melbourne Today/ Ernie and Denise. I liked listening to Ernie on 3AW as well. He had an infectious laugh. After mornings listening to news and current affairs, Ernie always gave a little light relief from all the world's troubles.

I remember Ernie doing the special snow show in the back of the GTV-9 property in Bendigo Street, Richmond. He got Alzheimer’s and was institutionalised for a few years and then he passed away.
