Great to see Errol Flynn in 1957 yes he looked older but the charm was still there...you can see the panel enjoyed having him as a panelist as well as the audience ...thanks for the posting.
That smile of Errol Flynn could melt a pound of butter in a few seconds, even in the bad physical shape he obviously was in when that program aired, a couple of years before his death. Such a talented actor, intelligent person...
Errol Flynn was no psycho...he was extremely talented & intelligent as well. He had his demons as we all do. Men often felt intimidated by him b/c of his natural talent & how the ladies responded to him.
There's a famous backstory to this one. Mike Wallace was supposed to be the mystery guest but John Daly was angry that Wallace has had gangster Mickey Cohen on his show. Dorothy Kilgallen reported a rumor that it was because Wallace was under consideration to replace Daly at ABC news and John never forgave her for that item.
Spare Some Shekels For A Poor Jew yea and in real life he called men. oh boy,oh boy I've done alto for the studio but I won't tape of my c@#k for them.
Damn....Flynn was only 48 when he was on this show (which I well remember. CBS I believe) He was so worn out & aged. Isn't alcohol & narcotics wonderful!
They should have let Errol be a panelist more often. He would have really done well after becoming more familiar with the show. He needed a break after much bad fortune. Too bad, only one time as panelist.
