@@anaphylaxis6599 Yes they are, but while you have to buy the Vocaloid program, the Utau one is free and so its quality is generally worse than Vocaloid- as far as I know, I'm not really an expert ^^
I like how he sings with such pain, crying and feeling so much... But he doesn't have a realistic tune. And that's the best part. He sounds real, but not realistic. It's like he IS a error, but he'll still prove us how he is a perfect error singing this with such heart. God, this is beautiful...
That's the beauty of Vocaloid/Utauloid. Maybe it's just because I like electric music but I love the robotic voices that they have and it works really well in songs like Error and The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku.

Holy shit, the voice cracks, squeaks, gasps, breaths, sobs and tone shifts are human-like. I’ve never heard a robotic voice bank like utau or vocaloid have as much emotion with that many human qualities to it. O_O I didn’t even know they COULD have gasps, sobs, sharp tone shifts and cracks that sound that natural. “Imperfections” programmed into it that make it seem more natural rather than forced in or some sort of glitchy mistake. And the shift between the higher softer tone and the hard tone was amazing! Usually a song has one kind of tone throughout, but this didn’t! REV YOU ARE AMAZING
OK, this is officially my favorite version of -ERROR. Karasu at 3:02 is just...WOW. it HURTS :') Thank you, Rev, this just made me smile and tear up with mixed feelings of happiness and sorrow. Tears have fallen. I know this song, I know this pain, I even know this voice, yet I’ve never felt this emotion from any of it before. 3:14 there was a breath sound that sounded like a sniff, and even that hit me. This captures what a lot of vocaloid songs don't, for me: the emotion. The breaths he takes in and the little squeaks add a touch of humanity that I find most songs sung by vocaloids lack. Good job. ^u^
The inhale at 2:51 and sniffle at 3:13 are such amazing details that really brings life to all of it! The wailing and squeaks in the voice also defines the sadness on a new level! For example a very tiny pitch change at 1:28 where it sounds like he's about to burst into tears.
I've never been so attached to an UTAU before, but I really love all the content you produce/have produced of Karasu! I've been listening to your cover of Close to You using him a lot lately (which is also really good), and it's just really awesome to see how you've both grown. Ok so imagine this song is from an anime where, the main character is a android but is singing this to show that it has feelings, thoughts and is alive too. Maybe a universe that has a bunch of music androids programmed to be a sort of dj, and this one broke free. Sort of like Detroit become human

I love listening to this. The voice gives so much emotion with tones and passion in the lyrics. The part with the piano solo sounds somewhat nostalgic to me as if it gives familiarity. The art for the video brings the mood in, and that ending is just so breathtaking. A great well done.

Four years ago i thougth the version by kyaami using namine ritsu was the peak point of utau and this songs evolution. You sir, had blown my expectations away. Damn i literally FELT this . I had to stop what I was doing to listen to this. I could feel his words, there's so much emotion in this. I didn't think it could be possible for an UTAU (or any synth) to vocalize emotions this way. This is by far my favorite version of this song, thank you so much for creating this.
I love how real he sounds but you can hear a mixture of sadness and anger in his voice. The sobs and the slight growls but it also sounds like he’s screaming the last lyrics.
This....oh my god. Those hard inhalations especially at 0:58 gave me chills and made him sound that much more powerful and hurt. I have no idea how I'm just now discovering this, but I'm certainly glad that I did.
