---------------------------------------SPOILERS FOR AOT S3 P2----------------------------------------------
A legendary moment in anime history, Erwin's charge. A solo piano version of "tooth-i:" plays during part of this scene, and a lot of people were disappointed when the soundtrack came out, and it was not solo in that release (a version of APETITAN plays over it). That's one of the reasons why I decided to carefully and meticulously transcribe the piano from tooth-i: and record it.
Interestingly enough, even just the piano differs a bit between the scene and tooth-i:, with some extra repetitions of certain bars in the scene. My arrangement follows tooth-i:'s piano exactly to the point where you can play them next to each other and get a perfect match in timing, with the exception of an APETITAN segment that I added in, to fill out some of the track that solo piano originally doesn't. Anyway, hope you enjoy this synthesia version! More AoT on the way :D

Erwin is my favourite character in Attack on Titan. Such a great character with so much depth. A human demon, and yet an angel. This scene broke me, and yet I kept rewatching it because his final act of heroism was so purely awesome that I couldn't get enough of it. His charge scene always gets me tearing up, his speech, as well as the music that plays. Hiroyuki Sawano is a musical mastermind. And so are you. After months of practice, I can finally play this song, all thanks to this video. It isn't perfect, needs more practice, but at least now I can play it from start to finish, by heart. I can finally honour Commander Handsome properly. Thank you.

he blew my mind when his arm gets bitten, he gets dragged, the Survey Corps get all worried and kinda panicking, and yet he doesn't gives a shit about it and tells them to move forward.

@@kunkkaralho The best part was when, after getting his arm bitten off and telling the Survey Corps to keep going, he STILL shows up to save Eren's ass. It's those things that make him my favourite character.

I personally love the last scene of S3 part 1 where everyone is acknowledging the scout regiment for the first time and Erwin does his war scream to yell with the crowd that part always gives me chill and gets me hyped!

Even though Erwin was always prepared to sacrifce the few to save the many, he never once took their lives for granted and he always felt responsible for the lives that were lost. What a truly honorable man. Wow.

Um, I'm not so sure about that. His fate has never been any different than humanity's. As Livai says, he agreed to become a demon to save mankind. Without him, mankind would have been doomed.

@@Waterbottle_s I think this is why Erwin is my favourite character on AOT. He's the most human character I've seen in all of anime. His thinking, his judgement is all due to his selfish reasons. He does prioritize the truth about humanity above anything else. But in those last moments, even when so close to the truth, he chooses to let it go. He died knowing he was just a little far away from the destination he set his life on. Giving up on his purpose to let humanity take a major step ahead. That's Erwin Smith.

Huge like for two reasons: Many arrangements you see on youtube are overly complicated for the sake of showing skill, even though it doesnt really fit the piece. You keep it simple and beautiful. And you give us the sheetmusic for free. Much love.

1:58 makes me think what Erwin must have went through before he charged into battle. The thoughts on his mind. When he knew defeat was certain but couldn't let it happen because how far they've come, the bodies and the lives lost. Knowing there is no other way out and that death is the only thing guaranteed for both defeat and victory. What's worse was that he knew that not only had his actions cost the lives of several of his comrades, that constantly haunts him to the point he is willing to die to repent for his decisions, but that he was about add to the list those inexperienced young scouts who still had their lives ahead of them, abruptly and violently and tragically ending by his doing. I think deep down, he wanted to die because he knew he couldn't live with himself after indirectly taking the lives of his young fellow soldiers. That part sounds like when one knows the end is here and the hardest decision must be taken no matter how unwilling it is to accept it for the cruel world requires so. He earned his rest.

Am I the only one who thinks in the terms of character writing They just surpassed Captain America, I mean Look the way erwin made strategies, the way he took risks, the way he moulded soldiers situation to situation,till his very end audience never knew that he will turn out soo great. I can bet he's better at speech than Captain America.
