All my Mexican friends here in California have families that have parties with all the music and dancing. Latin people love their dancing! They also welcome anyone into their party to have a good time
I saw a video clip of this with Joy Divison's song overlayed, and it fit perfectly. I thought that was the original until I had to find out who the dancer was and lead me to this! I love it.
Fam! Half South Sudanese, half Ethiopian born but Canadian citizen here. Didn’t grow around to many Mexicanos, but oh my lord do you guys know how to have fun and just overall love each other. 100% wish my culture was like yours although we have lots in common when it comes to family values, and respect for our elders, abuellas especially! They run the show for everything, get the last word and are the most respected, loved, appreciated, and most of all gifted with wisdom. I was invited to a party by one of my fellow Mexican brothers at last year. The love that was shown to someone who didn’t know much about what was going on was crazy. I even got called a honorary grandchild by my abuella from another country lol. I’m a darker toned black man. Young with a autobody garage in Calgary. We were celebrating a birthday for my friends sons 9th birthday. His daddy works in my shop and so I got a few of my clients to bring their exotic cars to the block park them, let the kids sit in them. I even got to do a nice burnout in my Benz sl550 amg convertible with his son riding shotgun! Let’s just say the kids have been coming to the shop with their dad and uncle every Saturday that I have the shop open. I have about 6 extra helpers now! 4 boys 9 y/o, and 2 7 y/o girls. Not one Saturday has gone by where they don’t come with uncle/dad. But the party wa suppose to be at the house. Ended up taking over the whole block. They had family come in from all over the states. And I even volunteered to pick up the family members flying in from Mexico in the Cadillac. Abuella loved that I was willing to do all those and treat them like my family lol. Got called to sit beside her for two hours to be blessed and given so many forehead kisses lol. Even got to the point where abuella was trying to set me up with one of her granddaughters who were my age and at the party. Partied till 4am, and got sent home with enough food to last a week! This song was played multiple times throughout the party and ugh it was so great! I’m convinced and told that I will marry one of the beautiful ladies I ended up talking to and dancing with all night after abuella gave the blessing and called over to take my hand and hit the dance floor. Y’all the absolute best! Can’t wait for the family reunion I got a invite to in Mexico this year! God bless all y’all and thanks for reading this lol
any one who ahs watched this and hasn't ended up with a smile on their face is dead inside , he is enjoying himself having a bit of an old dance and the music is infectious , THEN a hot beautiful girl turns up and does some dancing !whats NOT to like ???
I legit cannot tell how old this dude is, or explain how his feets be so big, but I would be ASHAMED to even attempt to bust a groove within the vicinity of this magnificent avatar of Dance on our planet's surface.
¡Agarrala bien chamaco!
Whoa that’s some frantic pace to that music. I like how he breaks it down with all the … flourishes he adds. The peace sign / Batman dance thing is stellar. Gotta love Mexicans. They know how to bring the party. I’m a white guy who grew up in Pico Rivera and stuff … not like this, but close enough was almost every weekend. I also saw this first with Joy Division Transmission danced to. I had to find the OG. Glad I did :-)
This music was influenced by Mexican military bands in the 19th century ...originated in the state of Zacatecas...brief view of the Zacatecas region ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6jTAMSh9K_o.html
Mexican culture is so amazing because 🇺🇸 society makes so many generalizations about them that it's always a shock to see how cool, multifaceted, silly, romantic, and down to Earth the people of Mexico truly are. They also can literally make a good time out of anything...which is quite a skill indeed.
