Years later, this is still the purest form of what Internet legends are made of... raw, dynamic, techno, awe inspiring moment that can never be repeated.
It may sound dumb but some videos including this one need to be preserved for future generations to understand how the internet became what it is today. God bless Techno Viking.
I miss those days…some crazy random stuff became viral because of the art itself and then…nothing again from those people…that’s why is special … authentic
I love how random people just walk up to him with random offerings and he’s just like “eh water I shall inhale it. Pamphlet. I shall glance over it. Now. I. Shall. Dance.”
@@Babeoftheabyss I heard that story. I personally think it was a couple of ambulance chasers looking for a payout, and that techno viking had nothing to do with it.
I have watched the Techno Viking quite a few times and I'm glad that it's still uploaded after all this time. I'm 64 yrs old and this proves to me that there's still hope and great humanity in this world. "GO TECHNO VIKING !" 🤗😎😲
the way his body starts to move after drinking from that bottle suggests that it was water straight from the well in valhalla! Today this water is more commonly known as pure acid.
Europeans are incredible mix i wouldnt be surprised if everyone has a few % of Scandinavian blood in them. One of my italian friend tested his dna and got viking blood too though he looked nothing like a viking. German is very close to ghem vikings as well
Spawn ? I think you mean spam. Vikings are well known for their love for spam spam spam spam spam spam spam spam lovely spam wonderful spam spam spam spam
@@pablok9956 Yes it is, thank you, glad you like it. Yes I do know TO SPAWN word. And the TO SPAM one, also. Spawning they sure did. But Vikings were also very much interested in spam, all the time, that's why I thought there might be some historical confusion. Here's the evidence: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_bW4vEo1F4E.html
It's 2024 and this is how RU-vid was a long time ago. I wish it just stay simple as this. Not filled with unnecessary distractions everywhere. Still though the legendary viking dance the best.
Really? Dude this just made my fucking day. Little things like this make me remember how awesome people are. I love that you made this a part of your Thanksgiving tradition.
I love coming back to this every so often, it's a happy place of mine. I'm fairly sure some merch companies tried to get him on board for his likeness for t shirts, poster etc. He said no, didn't want anything to do with them. Absolute legend.

How he grabs his water, without looking. How he grabs his flyer, without looking. He just knows, that anything handed to him, is already approved by him. Legend.
It's hilarious watching this now, just thinking back to how as a kid, I was completely unable to appreciate the absolute weirdness of this whole scene.
@@on1kag326 - I wonder if that girl would have been happier at a techno parade... Probably would have ended up getting grabbed by some random guy in the crowd, and then write a mopey song about that experience too.
Nice said and true. That time will never come that way again. It was a crazy time with all kind of stuff that is impossible these days in that high agenda.
@@faux4482 - Well first of all, it's on the street and it's as a moving crowd, so that's weird. The girl being so easily identifiable by blue hair is weird. The way the guy grabs her is weird, esp. as it frames some weird shirtless guy as the protagonist, and last but not least, the shirtless guy's center stage overarching irreverence is definitely weird. The cherry on top, he ended up suing the guy filming him for violating his "privacy." Weirdest of all.
Him first repelling the darkness, then the divine assistant offering him the sacred enchanted waters, and then the sacred dance of the light with his disciples while he shows them the way to redemption. This video is 100% perfect.
He emerged from the shadows of Berlin, accepted the water, danced and disappeared back to the shadows. His identity remains a secret, his tale became legend…
@@moritzl4024 Who is the blue-haired girl? Who is the drunk? Who is the water dispenser? Who are all the techno dancers? Who gave him the note? Who caused him to turn around and leave the dance? We must ask all of the questions.
Hire a guy to enact a scene to make you look good and have RU-vid love you forever.... Except one of your film guys caught the supposed dbag riding on the train and cheering you on...
I researched the techno Viking, his name is Gunther Ackerman. Working as a lumberjack in Germany, said he would consume copious amounts of speed and stay up for days working at his lumberjack job and partying. He’s a happily married gay man in Berlin.
He was stood next to van playing music. When the van started moving, he followed it, therefore it looks like people are following him. They are not following him. They are all following the van.
@@WhiteLivesMatter-Copedon't worry. we understand that you can't have that username *AND* be capable of dancing to the tracc. It's ok. After all, someone has to be the pamphlet distributor.
Two Viking legends are above all others...the lone axe welding Viking who held off an army at Stamford bridge in England by himself and then the man who danced at fuckparade 2000ad
the second delivery guy handed him a 100 million dollar cheque from government to betray his comrades and stop the march, but he teared it into pieces unnoticeably.
