This channel do deserves more subscribers......Can see that tremendous effort is put on making this review. I like your systematic way of evaluating headphones , nice differentiation , no BS and people can really relate. Mjolnir Audio, there link'd in the video as well. Bought it along with the amp I purchased from them as well. If you can believe it the amp was originally JUST for 95x

@@ahmadieb not named directly I talk more so about the leading and trailing edge for the presentation for individual sounds, as well as dynamic contrast two things that I feel make up speed es1a didn't strike me as a particularly fast headphone so that verbiage will be added into future reviews as it seems to be something people associate with Estats n stax thank you for the question,
@@ahmadieb also feel that faster headphones tend to have a lot of texture overall and sometimes you'll get too much emphasis on that texture when you have a headphone that is too fast or headphone that doesn't decay and release in a natural way... so when I talk about 009 having undesirable emphasis on solid state that would be an example of where the headphone is too fast and no longer sounds natural by the same token the slight lack of texture of es1a on tubes is because the amplification is slowing it down... 009 is a headphone that sounds good on two bands because they add just a bit of harmonic content which helps to create a more natural presentation of sustained decay and release so they slow 009 down just a bit
Great video overview of all those hps, specially the electrostatics ones. Question for you my friend: which would you choose between the 009 vs the 007 Omega 2? Or maybe this new one ES-1A?
I've not heard 007 Omega 2... people describe it similarly to how es 1A sounds and is spoken of that said I already purchased a 009 for myself a few months back and it's exactly what I wanted, I've heard both 007 and 009 numerous times over the last four or five years attending shows and I've always gravitated more to 009. So when the opportunity arose that's what I got and I have no regrets! For my tastes it's pretty spectacular across the board. In a perfect world though it would be nice to have es1a with an equally resolving solid state amplifier!
For my personal tastes it would be 009=ES-1A=HD800, 95X, Elex, L700MK2 Some my rank them other wise depending on what they want, Elex and L700MK2 are a little more fun and in YOUR FACE which some people really enjoy [I don't] 95X is for some folks soft and boring, but I enjoy it, and so forth and so on
