I’m Danish. I also like many others think this song was really really great. - On top of that I like that the group managed to use small different elements of Danish-ness: - No diva / super star energy - but to singers who were so cute together (Except when she appears on stage in the middle of the song which was pretty amazing due to the audience’s reaction) No powerful effects with light dancers or firework. Melody and instruments - very simple but CATCHY though down to earth, but it was the perfect energy and collaboration between musicians and singers that made it epic. Many small simple elements that combined perfectly gave a happy warm feeling - a simple but powerful presentation of Danish humbleness and Hygge here is probably the most that contains so many of the elements

This is the real winner of Eurovision 2001 in my opinion, loved it back in '01 & still do! Estonia had great entries down through the years (2009 & 2015 most stand out) but the song that won the contest for them was terrible.
Er helt enig vi (danmark) skulle have vundet det år...:) I agree completely, Denmark should have wun that year :-) The winning song from Estonia is also the one I remember the least of them all...

This song was a huge hit in Iceland both before and after the contest - I think I heard it on the radio as early as last year. This is a song I have real trouble getting out of my head once I hear it. So fun and catchy. I think our neighbours should have made a double this year rather than the overrated Estonia.

Sorry 99Denmarkprincess77 I have to disagree with you there. I think Rollo & King were robbed! This is a fantastic pop song that I still hum along to in public (although I have yet to be arrested for this so far, I use the word YET). I was so routing for Denmark that year that I wrapped myself head to toe in bacon. There's still a slice wrapped round my ankle in hope that they'll do a re-count. A++ Rollo & King...and A+++ to the gorgeous, blonde haired lady. ;)
