It's both ironic and karma that Escanor's kingdom Castelia was destroyed, precisely due to Escanor being exiled. If they had accepted him for his powers and loved him for who he was despite of his "cursed" form, their kingdom would not have been destroyed by the invading barbarians but instead would have been saved by Escanor instead. He could EASILY destroy an entire barbarian horde all on his own, and will easily act as a deterrent force to any future invaders. So instead of ensuring their prosperity by keeping Escanor, they doomed themselves by exiling Escanor thinking that his "cursed" form will doom them. This is karmic and poetic justice at its finest. Hope his scumbag jealous older brother "enjoyed" his last moments well when the barbarians ended his pitiful life.

1:02 You see, it's the haters just hating because many creators back than were influencing them. Many of 'em never watched SDS and do not know the story behind production. Netflix enhanced most of season 3 so that they are not horrible. The pre Netflix version are still available somewhere deep within the internet. Season 3 episode 12 (non Netflix version) is the one which had eye soaring animation. Modern day sds season 3 is mid in terms of Animation (with some perks with good animation in a handful of episodes)! Just ignore them, haters job be hatin'!

Alot of the animation issues were fixed. However it was really bad in the last season when it first dropped, i mean really bad. When i went back to rewatch this series later i saw that majority of it was cleaned up well. It still has some choppiness and weird shots at times, but overall it was much better afterwards I blame the issues on Netflix though because they switched studios for animation then put them on a crunch schedule for release, and when that happens a-lot of things are missed or ignored just so overhead can push it out and not have the netflix leader on their butt. Theres probably comparisons online to the differences between the original airings and the retouched ones still as well.

Just like with every other anime, popular youtubers made their criticisms of the anime and then everyone backpacked on the idea. The animation isn't up to par but he honestly isn't as bad as people who never watched the show made it out to be.

I was awful but there was major animation fixes months after it was released specially the escanor vs meliodas fight looked like a flip animation and the censor also made People even more salty but after that the show fixed the animation issues and popped up again

when they say you will droop the show it was episod that meliodas and escanor war fithing iside the cube .

Doesn't really make sense that Meliodas was able to use his Assault Mode like that and even be able to beat Escanor while he was "The One" since at the time the Seven Deadly Sins were just being created. If he was able to use it that would mean that he could have beat the Ten Commandament all togheter the moment he regained his powers back, and he also wouldn't have lost his mind the first time we saw him use it.

Alright now to explain to Neel why The One was able to beat Meliodas back in S3 but in the past Meliodas No diffed him. Firstly remember what Zeldris said when Escanor fought him at the end of the War. Meliodas almost never takes any fight seriously since he was so strong. During that fight it was obvious that Meliodas was holding back since fighting Escanor was so fun. He then underestimated The One on the final attack. Also remember right after the battle Escanor's wounds were much worse than Meliodas's. He managed to heal up 100% in less than half a day while Escanor was still bedridden. Secondly, Meliodas wasn't at full strength in the S3 fight but he was in the past. After he died in S2 and revived Meliodas was constantly suppressing his dark power until he released it to escape the dark cocoon. Then his dark power overwhelmed his little remaining emotions and took over. From that point his dark powers were releasing until he was back to using his full demon mark powers of the past. His powers were already much stronger once he got back to Camelot and met Zeldris and Estarossa which we saw when he incapacitated them both and Cusak all at once. So overall, yes FP Meliodas is stronger than The One Escanor. That was not a plot hole either. Enjoy...
