Had it for more than 15 years and never gave it a good try except for checking its functions on the day one long time ago!
@@andyjett I started on Reason 2.0 2006, 4.0 2007, 2021 12.0 So that was 14 years of using 4.0 and despite having 12 I sometimes still use 4.0 because I cracked it years ago and don't require Me to long on plus its simplicity actually inspires creativity. I have a Reason 12 licence with about 30 add on REs and 50 VSTs might sound amazing however having to many options is a problem and has not increased necessarily made My music better. Anyway I want to do videos using Reason 4 but only use 1.0 devices so basically I can call the videos Reason 1.0 to prove to people its not the tools that makes good music, its the persons skill.
@@andyjett Up to 4.0 it keeps the same exact UI as 1.0, by 5.0 they changed it. 4.0 and 5.0 are the most common cracked versions because by 6.0 they made it more difficult to crack the software introducing Dongles or online account stuff.
@@HOLLASOUNDS Thanks, man! Yes, Reason 2.0 was also my introduction to this #1 proggy back in 2004. Prior to that i only heard about this magiс software but couldn't find it anywhere back then! I also used it till version 4 prior to that working on every version released: Reason 2, Reason 2.5, Reason 3 (totally outstanding version! ) and finally Reason 4. After that i dropped making electronic music for a very long time. Afterwards i had a chance to get Reason 5 but only for the sake of interest which new features this software could offer! And sampling feature was very impressive. So yes, Versions 3 and 4 are quite enough to do whatever you want! I agree - the more features DAW offers usually distracts one from concentrating on music making. That's why i prefer to keep it as simple as possible. But honestly even Reason 1 gives you almost endless possibilities in sound carving and music composition!
