I remember from the original series that somehow they ended up back on earth in 1948. Had I been John Robinson I would have said at that point, "Okay, this is the best we can hope for. We're going to stay here and use our knowledge to advance science and technology, and hopefully make a better world."
@@hamiltonpl Well they did a whole episode where they were concered about possibly drifting out in space because of a lack of fuel when Smith accidentally dumped their entire fuel supply into space, so to say that logic didnt at all apply to an Irwin Allen production isnt logical.
This was so much fun to see! Your animation gets better and better, and it was great to see the modeling by Al Dinelt and Ron Haselius as well! Looking forward to the next chapter(s)!
There are endless possible future from where the original left off. As a kid watching the original, I always rooted for them to return to earth, as an adult re-watching the show, I alway imagine them thriving in some planet in a very distant galaxy very very far away from earth. No matter how things change, human nature remains the same, hence the old saying: "Whatever you go there you are". It is not the place, people or circumstances that make us grow. It is the capacity of each one to understand that only one has the capacity to become a better versions of oneself and be it. Great JOB! Going to chapter 2. With Gratitude and Appreciation for the Work you do🙏 THANK YOU
This is such a great series! I appreciate that you have remained true to the original series. You've even managed to duplicate the balance of humor and suspense I remember from the original show. Also, the fact that the characters show signs of having aged is a nice touch. I really like the nod to the retro icons, like all the robots in the last chapter. You have done an extremely excellent job! Kudos to all of you!
This reminds me of every movie or TV ever made, when a spaceship is entering the solar system it always, just by pure chance, passes close to Saturn. What are the odds? I love the old CBS "In Color!" intro)
Note the names of the two technicians, or whatever they are - Goddard and Cartwright! And other characters with the same real surnames as members of the original cast!
This is so meticulously put together- bravo! Very cool using the cast's surnames for the personnel, MPs etc. I had to smile at your use of Star Trek doors and sound effect 🙂 Marvellous reimagining - please keep up the great work!
I'm curious how Will could have lived in the Pod for 2 years. There isn't even a chair inside he could sit on. Let alone all of he fuel, food, and air he would have needed. But it was cool to see it descend and land at Alpha Control. I hope there's another chapter coming to continue this story.
ok you have to abandon ALL logic here. Who's to say they didn't equip the pod with other gadgets and who's to say he didn't land on planets that had edible food? I think you just have to go with it. haha!
Well they did a whole episode where they were concered about possibly drifting out in space because of a lack of fuel when Smith accidentally dumped their entire fuel supply into space, so to say that logic didnt at all apply to an Irwin Allen production isnt logical. I tried to point out that th Space Pod doens't have a space worthy engine for intergalactic travel but the animator did not care. Then again, Dr Smith did travel to the Xenion in the SPace pod with the Robot so maybe it did.
Welcome back! Thank you for creating and sharing your new episodes. Really enjoy the Easter Eggs. If possible, could you please consider enabling closed captioning.
TALK ABOUT A CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!!!! Are you familiar with the story where the WHOLE family gets back to Earth It was on youtube Don and Judy have a son and with exception of June Lockhart The WHOLE surviving cast was there with Veronica Cartwright playing Mureen and Guy Williams son playing John?
Very very nice and am looking forward to pt. 2. But we cant let you leave Will because we told everyone y'all were lost in Space and would ruin our reputation. Havent we all endured too many government cover ups ? Maybe things will become more transparent in pt 2.
There is no subscribe button. I saw this months ago and thought about searching for it just yesterday, because I wanted to know the rest of the story. Boom link to this video appears in suggestions collum of unrelated video I am watching. Spooooky
@@hamiltonpl my bad. I went to the video page and still no subscribe button. Noticed the menu symbol next to the Bell and taped it. Turns out I'm already subscribed. 😜 Silly me
At least they could have gotten some better voice actors to sound alot like Dr Smith and even may e got Bill Mumy to use his voice. But this still looked pretty neat. Ohh the pain, the pain.
