Hey there! There is no official age rating for Escape Simulator yet, but the content presented in the game should be suitable for kids. The puzzles can get pretty tricky, though! 😉
This game is gonna need a hell of a lot of work before it gets fully released. The demo is not looking great. For starters, changing your key binds doesn't actually work for some actions like crouching. The timer in the first stage doesn't stop when the game is paused. Some of the actions are so beyond broken that I gave up trying to do them. An example of that being the flask token in the first stage. You're supposed to put it in the water and then select the gear/action icon but the flask just falls through the pedestal model and teleports back into your inventory before you can do anything. The only way to select maximized window in the options is to first select windowed and then maximized window. You can't go straight from full screen to maximized window for some odd reason. Hell I even got softlocked twice in the first level when trying to switch between the egyptology books. If you switch back and forth too quickly the book you try to switch too turns into a bunch of corrupted pink pixels and it keeps you stuck in the item viewing menu permanently. I haven't even played the 2nd and 3rd levels yet and it's already getting extremely frustrating just to play. Edit: Same soft lock happens in the third level too
