I already said this on another youtuber's video, but... Since the game appears to be one of those "lost footage" perspectives like Slender or Halo : Reach (Slender's camera gets glitchy, and both games involve the camera's perspective being dropped as the protagonist dies in some way) it's fair to assume that the protagonists were recording everything they witnessed. Due to the fact that if you die, you see a "No Media" blue screen of sorts. So, in the final cutscene, you aren't taking the perspective of a screaming MEG employee or whoever, and it's fair to assume they went splat against the pavement. And the moment you think "Oh, so my character died, but the camera is still alive so others would know what happened!" no... some random pedestrian runs it over in their SUV. So in short... Nobody will know about the backrooms. Nobody will know what happened to you. Nobody will know how you fell from an airplane with no flight logs. Nobody will know the horrors you witnessed. So... it was truly all for nothing... wasn't it?
