PART 1 : • Escape from The Backro... Another found footage tape of a man lost in the vastness of the backrooms, exploring many different areas and encountering various entities along the way. NEXT VIDEO : • Exit the Playrooms - F...
I like how the entity stopped chasing the guy, almost like it knew that if it kept chasing him it would wander into the territory of a much more terrifying entity.
Ok honestly, you nailed the atmosphere and uncanny aesthetic of the backrooms/liminal spaces perfectly. there's this slow burn going on with some hidden lore foreshadowing something incredibly dark. Also you did some pretty amazing recreations of well known liminal pictures which in itself is a really cool feat
This is one of the most hauntingly desperate manifestations of a nightmare I’ve seen since Eraserhead. The complete diversion from anything natural, the loneliness, the abject hopelessness. You’re a genius.
What really stands-out about this one is the unique and detailed settings. I love the architecture in this. Feels very much like a large medical facility. I love when people focus more on exploring interesting architecture rather than just making some simple hallways and focusing mostly on entities.
Entities are too often abused for cheap shock value. The backrooms should be like a dreamlike in unpredictability. Going “Argh! Monsters, monsters!” All the time makes it cheap
This is probably the most horrifying backrooms video I've seen yet. One of the most for sure. The atmosphere here is so fucking good and the tension in the ending elevator, it's so fucking creepy I love it
A little theory I have about "the guardians" is that they are really powerful entities that takes little kids that ended up in the backrooms levels and takes them to their own level, the playrooms. But the guardians sees adults as an intruder or threat and will do what they can to kill them so they can protect the children they kept in the playrooms because they don't want children escaping. But I'm extremely amazing with what you did with this video, you did an outstanding job!
@@GeoNosiS26 Thank you! I feel bad for the guy, imagine trying to find a way out the backrooms but end up in the playrooms with a teddy bear with intent to kill you 😑
@@GeoNosiS26 I wonder what will the next playrooms footage be? My hint is maybe we go back into the playrooms and then we saw the white bird from his room?
you're going to be the next best backrooms youtuber 1. kanepixels :focuses on lore 2. frag 2 : cool short explorations of levels and entitys 3. you: backrooms vlog 😎
Competition has gotten very rough and the bar has set very high It is kind of difficult to exactly pinpoint anyone really. The Bob, lost in the Hyperverse, vertex, and geonosis are rising like crazy! Good luck with all your future content geo hope you make your goal soon! 🙃🙂
I'm now imagining The Playrooms as being like its own subspace where kids that fall into the Backrooms are sort of herded towards by the kinds of levels they travel through, and any adult that manages to find their way near, well, we've seen what happens.
@@GeoNosiS26 I interpreted The Playrooms as a creation of a advanced group of humans who had made them and the Guardians in order to train their future generations and protect them from the more actively dangerous levels. After some great calamity they all died off or abandoned the place, and it was either corrupted by the latent malice of the Backrooms, or just went mad overtime from abandonment. If the original comment is what you were actually intending though, I love that idea just as much!
@@speedslider3913 Nice! Although I must say I do have my own lore for the place, idk if I’ll ever make a video on that so any theory is fine and welcome!
@@SamuelBlack84 maybe the child would see an adult as an entity when inside the playrooms, as an attempt by the actual entities to stop the child from leaving with said adult. So they think the ‘toys’ are coming to life to protect them
Brilliant work on this one. As children in the 80s and 90s we were led through places like these and our lives were recorded on VHS like this..... When watching these (or having similar nightmares) it's like revisiting those moments that space and time has discarded, where you're trapped and destined to be forgotten. And being forgotten is a fate that's as inescapable as the backrooms themselves....
I agree. It's like the three golden decades for the backrooms, liminal spaces, dreamcore, weirdcore, etc, belong to the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s. Who agrees?
I think my favorite thing about this one is how it captures the feeling of the Backrooms; it feels like someone used to live here, but something went horribly wrong and the camera man is walking around the aftermath.
I'd like to appreciate the entity at the end, the Guardian. I think what makes it so threatening is how it's the total opposite of what the playrooms are supposed to be. They're supposed to be a place where children laugh, play, and have fun. The sound of the children crying is like the total opposite of that, so it immediately subconsciously let's you know that you're in a serious amount of danger. I know it's small, but again, the sound of the crying children eally emphasizes that it's the complete OPPOSITE of the playrooms, not something fun, not something cute. Something threatening, something that is going to kill you. If you ever make another, I'll be eagerly watching!
Great comment! Nicely put observation there, as the sounds of crying are definitely implying something here. Any kid would be terrified and cry out in fear if they saw a once friendly Teddy Bear like that transform into something abhorrent in nature.
@@GeoNosiS26 If you make another video of the playrooms, you ought to include the “children” that reside there. Maybe they are entities, maybe not. Maybe they are trying to escape, but can’t because of the Guardians. Maybe they’re being tortured. Who knows? An escape video would be an interesting idea.
@@rattatouilletherat Not sure about this one, what makes alot of the liminal space and backrooms things creepy is the elements that would have a purpose normally (like the toys etc here, or a pool, office supply etc) but seem out of place, put there without a purpose and not being used, in creepy empty spaces. Adding children (even if they are actually entities) would give too much purpose and life to this place. Being lifeless and dangerous at the same time is an important part of why those videos seem so terrifying. Being alone with the guardians of such places hunting you, be it big evil teddy bears or creepy spaghetti looking monsters.
5:56 I love that subtle "you gotta to be kidding me" while he looks at the directory. Shows how complex and overwhelming in size the playrooms are. I wonder if those three circles/boxes on the directory indicate three sub-levels of the playrooms? (I assume that elevator only had access to one sub-level with several hundreds of rooms?) Great work and detail, can't wait for more lore!
I counted how many were in the top row, and multiplied it by the number of buttons in the rightmost column 504. There are 504 buttons, and (presumably) 504 floors to visit.
@@yourofficalnetworkI’m sure the bloody room might be the rejected guardians. Such as Wallai and KawKao and the rest brutally mauled and when the Mallrooms series happens. Bday gave them an another chance.
@@SpelichaKennalifich1524 i mean it would only make sense if the guardians killed adults AND maybe children in that room but im just saying thats highly unlikely
This video captures perfectly what the "backrooms" is all about. The tone here is set perfectly from the very start, a place that disturbing as it may look has you curious around every corner to see whats hiding there, what places there are to explore. Ambient noise in the background that makes you question who or whats beyond the current boundaries. And I especially loved the big teddy bear which almost everyone expects to move or turn it's head simply stays completely still and adding to the suspense. As the concept gained popularity over the months more people are jumping on the train to create content with it. But a lot of them simply go the "static screen/noise, bright empty rooms/hallways, and random creepy entity" route and keep it at that. Really hope the YT algorithm pushes this one up the ranks, it really deserves it!!!
I don't know why, but the little window that obviously leads into some kind of reception really unnerves me. It's as though you expect someone to be standing there to help you and tell you why these rooms exist. But, it's yotally devoid of people. Yet, there's this constant feeling of being watched, that someone or something is actually standing there, but you can't see them. The fear of places that would normally be filled with people conversation and activity. Instead, they're empty and silent which completely removes their meaning. They become meaningless structures that exist for nothing which makes their existence almost an invasion of reality
I really like your take on the backrooms. It's still nonsensical and bizarre, but there's more to it then endless boring corridors. There's furniture and a lot of unique locations, which I really dig. It's still got the same vibe but it's a lot more interesting overall. Were it not for... whatever the guardian is, I'd genuinely want to explore a place like that.
Dude, this was terrifying. There are some people making some good Backrooms content, but you're the only serious contender to Kane Pixels' throne. This showed me stuff I haven't seen before. The maddening "happy" colors, the way the art on the walls devolves into violent, scarier images. And even the whole aspect of this section of the Backrooms having apparently been set up for children! It really taps into some psychological, deep-rooted fears. Even a lot of the architecture is different than the Backrooms stuff we've come to expect. Really well done, brother. I'm still going to list Kane as the king, 'cause he's the one that first took me to these places. But you're right up there, man. This was brilliant.
Wow the way you captured the liminal space world / backrooms in this is actually next level. This should definitely be up there with the other great Backrooms videos that have gotten millions of views in recent months. Phenomenal work!
That elevator part is really tense I love how the cameraman is actually sensible and not too curious to explore when the door opens but still unfortunately they still ended as a victim to the entity there.
I don't have too much to say. But it's clear that you decided to craft a unique horror experience, with a portion of the packrooms lore that's been relatively untouched. This is some seriously well made stuff, and it's definitely got it's own surreally visceral feel to this. This monster never catches you till it's too late. Everything gets worse and worse, and the shift in aura is almost undecipherable. All you knew was that you had to leave, cause whatever this thing was, it wasn't as if anyone would know (dead or alive, all are mostly dead lol). And that's an interesting way to keep it. There are no patterns, no mathematical distances to gauge. You've fallen in to deep, this world now wants you gone. Reality itself warps around you, and you were from the moment you stepped foot in the playcare - what else can I say? I love how when you emerge on the balcony, your exit appears to have distanced itself rom you, over a void. A signifier that you cannot escape. I love how the rooms at the end shift from slight variation from the familiar rooms, to a startling reminder of childhood horror, to the warnings you failed to heed, to the world warping out of your reach, to the world moving to devour you whole. Love it all.
3:21 this level is honestly very horrifying to me bc i’ve had a dream that i was in a complex exactly like this. it never ended. there were normal people there like me but no one would answer me when i tried talking to them. like i didn’t exist. idk what is worse being alone with entities whose very purpose is to see your end or being with people who don’t even notice you
I lived there before. 20 houses same block all looked the same except for different color every other house. People sit outside you wave get a blank expression. See few people time to time from the area checking to see if the neighbors cars are unlocked. I'd feel better around some these creatures in the backrooms, least I know what they up to.
I had a similar dream. an Airport full of people, including cops, would simply ignore me and the creepy blob monster trying to swallow me. After a while they'd disappear behind doors or around corners leaving no one but the creepy blob monster.
Bro, you nailed this. I love hove how this character actually acts like a normal human being haha, he turns around when something appears dangerous instead of moving towards it. Plus that one scene where he's about to leave because the keycard doesn't work but then the doors open. It's one of those things that just add an extra level of realism, making the whole thing more immersive, GOOD JOB!
This is the one backrooms video that sticks with me purely because the locations featured are so damn uncomfortable yet feel like places we’ve all seen and been too before whether that be in dreams or real life, it feels like it could exist and does exist and it taps into that spooky nostalgia a lot of us feel, you did a brilliant job dude and you deserve so much more appraisal , this is just one of those rare ones where the locations manage to creep me the hell out, good job dude !
What captivates me the most (and creeps me out the most) is the exploration of the strange architecture and freaky scenery. I felt that the coolest part of this video was towards the end when the elevator door kept opening and closing with a different setting every time it opened. The hallway extending off into the distance and the wavy flowing floor scenes being the freakiest! Introducing an entity into a scene is either a home run or a strike out with the latter being the most common, especially if the entity chases the viewer, which to me breaks the atmosphere. Great job on this video!
So I think the bear is supposed to be some kind of Guardian of children, but kills any adult it comes across because they’re not supposed to be in the Playrooms?
WOW. Excellently done. I love the way the portrayed the Backrooms almost like a living being, luring the protagonist down a path towards the Guardian. That final scene with the elevator was expertly done, with how every time the elevator stopped, it stopped at an increasingly terrifying and eerie place. The last stop, with the blood red floors undulating like the inside of a stomach, with the Guardian slowly turning around, and transforming as it neared the protagonist. Wow, for real, cool shit dude.
This is my favorite backroom video. The build up to the monster makes it more scary than just a generic chase scene. Especially that part with the elevator at the end makes it chilling to be in
The thing that made the bear at the end really scary was two things One: it kept morphing as it got closer and it must’ve had some sort of power and/or energy to make the camera distorted like that Two: the noise it made sounded like the screams of children
I love this stuff for the nostalgia. Reminds me of being a kid in the 90’s and running around with my brother through the hospital waiting rooms cutting up and being a nuisance. Some of the waiting areas would be diminishing and foreboding though. Sometimes there would be smaller nooks that nobody sat and even large labyrinthine waiting areas that would be dimly lit and deserted. I remember even there were doors down some hallways that were given special markings warning of hazards that We didn’t understand and we would decide that those rooms were where they kept monsters or experiments. I miss being a kid in that time but I’m glad people are making an effort to recreate these subconscious settings.
this was INCREDIBLE! Like just as good as Kane. Absolutely love how you sprinkle more and more warning signs about the bear, you have an amazing sense for building suspense. Keep up the fantastic work!
This is one of the best found footages I've ever seen! things I like about it: -the terrain is unique and incredibly disturbing. the liminal space is superbly well done -the sound design is super unsettling. I love the silence versus the creepy children noises etc -the story and lore is unique to all other backrooms videos. I love how the bear shows up in various spots making the whole narrative connected. the movement between biomes is well done and makes the whole thing feel like the horrifying and grand adventure that it is. I like the use of key card identification as well... it adds some backstory to how the character is able to access special rooms. -the way the rooms got changed at the end is super disturbing overall super well done. one of the best backrooms videos till now. I hope to see more!
LEGENDARY!! This had me gripped in fear and dread from the start. I love how the final entity "Guardian" teddy bear was just "foreshadowed" throughout the entire video, this is gold, would love to see more!
4:15 When I imagine the entities from the Backrooms level 94 (the animations), I think of those creepy/uncanny cartoon characters on the wall in this level. BTW this is probably my favorite backrooms related video on YT. I especially loved the elevator part where the room pulled away! This whole footage is a surreal fever dream and I need more of it!
You captured the essence of what the backrooms is not just about level 0 or MR.kitty’s level but other levels/ sub levels that give the feeling of nostalgia that feeling that it’s not safe, the feeling that you’ve been here before. Especially when he tried to get into to the playroom I was like “you’re over 18 sir/ma’am😭” or when the creepy picture of an entity shows for a slit second causing panic in what you just saw. I love you’re videos and hope to view more❤️
Seriously incredible work. Unlike 99% of youtube backrooms content out there, this one has the air of something narrative-driven like an indie horror film. Great job on taking the backrooms concept back to its roots!
Dude this is the first Backrooms video I've seen that actually makes me see things tbat are familiar in a sense. That obvious waiting room with miniscule toys. I always hated how clean and untouched they looked, as a kid. Then you got the arcade type carpet which reminds me of like chuck e cheese or a movie theater. I loved the last elevator part, especially when there was that room that just extended. That elevator itself should become a key point in the backrooms, maybe a false exit that only leads further into the backrooms. I would've loved if you made the doors open then the elevator itself just goes shooting down past the open doors, maybe have someone or something inside of it
Thanks for the comment! Yeah I honestly don’t know why I didn’t think of the elevator falling idea. i guess maybe because it would of required more modeling and I was already taking too long on the video at the time.
@@GeoNosiS26 that makes sense. Regardless it's good as is. Definitely felt more ambitious than most backrooms videos. I prefer more architectural focus, overall weirdness and ambience rather than there actually being an entity trying to kill you. It's nice you left it for the end of the video.
Out of all of the other backrooms videos, this one actually makes me feel unsettling. This video probably has the most uncanny vibe to it, and the rooms just give me an eerie vibe, like my old childhood room. You've earned a sub.
Am I the only one that finds the aesthetics of these rooms really cool? If these rooms were real I'd totally love to hang out in them. Especially that adorable little waiting room. Though that teddy bear needs to be booted out.
@@GeoNosiS26 I can only imagine a combo of being at Chuck E. Cheese and Dave & Buster. It gave off that aesthetic when I saw the carpet pattern designs. I can’t even imagine how fun a Chuck and Dave’s place would be if they were real.
this was exactly what I imagined being trapped in a liminal space would feel like. being able to create such a unique looking liminal space in which feels so convincing creates a new sense of horror I didn't think existed. I cant wait for more!
I really believe this channel is a hidden gem that will eventually get the same recognition as Kane Pixels. The quality and atmosphere are both on point and looks like it is already starting to be blessed by the algorithm gods!

Out of all the backrooms videos I've seen, this is the most comprehensive both atmospherically, and with its coverage of different levels in general. Super cool to include different liminal pictures and spaces, some of the 90's themed rooms really stick out as a burning memory and give a creepy feeling of nostalgia mixed with dread. Those two things are so potent when combined with each other. Bravo
Damn, that was amazing. I love how the drawings on the wall looked creepy but still somewhat normal and the way the bear was teased the whole way was top notch 👌 also that bit with the elevator at the end was soo suspenseful. Ik this may be a cliche thing to say but this legit deserves more views
This one was quite unique. Those behavior touches and suspense were very well done. Also, you prolly should've went with a better thumbnail for the video. Dunno how RU-vid algorithm screwed you, but it is criminally underrated work.
I usually dislike backrooms videos because I find them edgy and boring but I gotta say you nailed it. It truly feels like you are in some sort of infinite dimensions, I've had dreams of being stuck in endless places like this way before the backrooms were a thing (minus the entities).
I want to talk about the lore, based on all the paintings, (and what happened at the end), it seems like the bear entity lures children in with the childish build of the rooms and then kills them. (Also, yes, I’m counting teenagers as children as well). It even looks like there are multiple tricks and traps to lure children in. This is probably the coolest but also creepiest kind of backrooms content that I’ve seen.
9:39 Okay, this room is made that well that I want to be there and it actually terrifies me at the same time. Architecture and this lamps, even on walls and those dragons tho. Music actually matches too! And to be honest I think Ur footages are better than Kane Pixels ones! Also, the mysterious and uncanny atmosphere does the job. Awesome work got new subcriber!
Yeah I loved that 9:39 room as well. Would've been very interesting to see what happened if he went in as at the end you can see the bear guardian change in to the mural on the wall in that room, so that dragon is his true form he was showing (with the terrified little man he was lurching over representing the cameraman) to foreshadow what was coming 🐻
Man, i've seen a lot of backrooms found footage and most of them are really meh, just mid, but this my man, is incredible, you and Kane really comprehend what the Backrooms are meant to be, if someone does a Backrooms movie, you and Kane should be instantly hired
I was really impressed by that room at 3:12. It legit gave me the nostalgia and i also remember where i got the nostalgia from, i used to play a lot of Doom (The og game) in my childhood, the first installment was the one i played the most. And i think it was the 4th or 5th level that had a similar layout as this room. Really explains the whole concept of backrooms dude.
see what i like about this is there wasn't super sonic running when he was getting away from the entity. i really loved the textures it had because it really felt like a old cam cord from the 1990s. the movements with the camera were actually really good and actually made me think he was confused with his surroundings, this is one of the best backrooms videos i've watched so far and what makes it 1000 times better is the length of the video. please keep making these videos and you might just have yourself a forever fan!.
I just noticed in the beginning (I didn’t see it the first play through) the entity stopped chasing him as soon as he got to the entrance of the playrooms. And slowly backed away. You know the playrooms are screwed if entities are running from it.
Honestly the way you did this is insane, so realistic and intense, one of the best backroom creators by far, phenomenal. you hit nostalgia in so many ways, in a sense, you preserved a time that may no longer be in the future, something us of the 90s & 2000s were the last to experience, thanks for doing this, in the past these were the kind of things I think people didn't care about or would remember that I liked, to know other people do and did is such a relief.
I honestly just found the back rooms and I have to say I love it. You put a lot of passion into this and with the exception of me personally obeying warnings signs that obviously don’t want me to go through, this has those “oh gawd! Why is this dumbass going in for?! Doesn’t he see the danger?!” Vibes to it lol. I felt like I was the one making those wrong turns, everything about this was brilliant. The cautious way he walks around, the attempt to see how far he could go, the eventual realization of self mistakes, then reality itself bending to the will of your demise. I honestly felt like if he didn’t step into the fun zone and just got back in the elevator he would have been ok.
the story (lore?) you made here is brilliant, it's like a little puzzle inside the found footage. The signs for kids seems to indicate safety ("you must be 18 or under!!!" and "stay near a guardian," etc), but mean death to adults. The bear symbolism changes, as well, from a big soft teddy holding a girl's hand to a grizzly ripping a man's face off. And the whole vibe was impeccably creepy. kudos, loved it!!
I LOVE this, the atmosphere and architecture really made this one stand out from other fan made Backrooms. Hope your channel grows from this, you definitely deserve it!
Good work man! I really think you did a great job of portraying the backrooms universe! Your videos should get the same amount of views that the ones of frag or Kane. You really nailed that feeling of loneliness and uncanny vibe the backrooms can give to you. It’s a shame you don’t receive as much visibility as the others animators but im sure you will get it!
hi! i’ve been watching your videos, and i can see that you are literally amazing at the backrooms stuff- the smallest attention to details, the creepy atmosphere, the entities, the creativity- all this makes me wonder: where do you find your ideas? are you inspired or is this fully original? again, INCREDIBLE WORK!! I’ll be looking forward to seeing more from you :D
Honestly, this is one if my favourite Backrooms videos. It actually kinda gives me an idea that, if the backrooms were ever discovered/real, this is what it'd be like. It's outstanding!
This is SOOOO GOOD! The story development, from learning about the guardians, and slowly going more and more towards playroom-type aestethics is all really well done! Kudos! The only thing that I'd say is that I'm pretty sure VHS striping only goes horizontally, but I'm not even sure if that's always the case, and, of course, by the end I was so invested I'd entirely forgotten about it. Good job all around!
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah the VHS strip thing was kind of an unintended factor of having to render the VHS effect overnight. Once I saw it I figured it would be fine enough to publish. Will definitely consider that next time I think of using that effect...
that was honestly so amazing! i love the liminal space vibes mixed with the backrooms! it was so different and unique! keep doing what you’re doing, it’s amazing and you are incredibly talented!
I swear, these backrooms found footage videos are really really hard to watch. I feel like i'm about to get jumpscared at any minute, and this video absolutely takes the cake for that. Great job, and similar to what that one commenter said, I like how the entity at the beginning stopped chasing the camera man knowing that it could tread into the territory of something far, far worse.
wtf it's unreal how well made this is, one of the few backrooms video that got me scared af I watch every video by BazIsNotReal, and honestly why tf youtube isn't doing is job you nailed it omg , coming from someone who has a playlist with more than 300 video edits of the backrooms lol
With all the backrooms videos being made I I wonder if any two people will ever bump into each other And I wonder if everytime they make new videos are we tuning in on the same person or a different one
This is totally what this whole phenomenon feels like to me. I don't know how to explain it, it's like a bastardization of spaces I used to slightly remember from my childhood. Amazing work!!!!
i appreciate people like you showing spotlight to less known levels instead of level 0 all the time, you should consider doing a footage of the poolrooms
