Them forgetting tables exist for the partygoer level and crouching are giving me brain damage forgeting syndrome thing amnesia? Edit all party pooper or emo kid lore i know they sad they help they want war with yellow party goers the party goers won they lost got numbers down severely most went to hide the ones sitting were very much dead
I think the ending is oddly terrifying in a way despite of how simple / anticlimactic it looks. Throughout the game, you are implied to be watching the character's actions through a camera recording such as when you die. Another example would be Halo : Reach's ending where your character drops their helmet and keeps fighting, or pretty much any Slender game with the static when looking at Slender, or the "dropping camera as being dragged away shortly before the battery dies" ending of Slender : The Arrival. So in other words, you don't witness your character in the final cutscene, but it is implied that although they do escape, it's not a preferable location. So they most likely splattered on the pavement, and just when you think "Oh the camera survived though!" ... no, it didn't, some random pedestrian ran it over in their SUV. Meaning that *nobody* will see the camera's footage. Nobody will see what happened to you, nobody will know the existence of the Backrooms, nobody will understand how you fell from an airplane with no flight logs... nobody.
