i remember the days i used to listen to this, went to "real metal" as some people call it but I've always been coming back to escape the fate they were my fav band in high school and i can recall the day this album came out and it blew me away. it had a certain dark vibe songs like: lost in darkness, city of sin, prepare your weapon... ronnie did a good job but craig perfected escape the fate in every way, craig, monte,max and robert best line up these guy had... sadly it didn't last long. still can't understand why "metalheads" hate on other bands then the ones they love or the ones that are "trve" i'm eternally grateful for escape the fate for being there in hard times... thank you... ohh ye and that solo tho

One of my favorites of all time.

When this album came out, still seems like yesterday, I was friends in high school with some dude that told me he didn't like this solo. Needless to say I knew that's when something was wrong with him and we stopped being friends. Monte is always going to be one of my favorite guitarists. His solos kill me still after 13+ years.

The solo was pretty alright up until 3:33... then it became super epic the rest of the way.

I really need a sequel of this. I hope for a G4 in the next albums. 😭😭 (and I now about the Guillotine 4 of FnR). But despite they have an interesting style, I personally wish the sequel to this saga was made by Mabbit, Bell, Thrasher and Ortiz (Sorry Bryan you know we love you ❤). Because I hate NOT having to buy a new sound system every time. 🤣❤🔥 I love the wibes they give with their music, they give a crazy charge.😌❤🔥🤞

Maybe going to do "cloak and dagger" stuff for the C.I.A. after spending several years there. I'm determined and fanatical enough to do that stuff........ I have a girlfriend with whom I'm madly in love. It's something like we've NEVER felt. And when I listen to this song; especially the ending of (see next comment)

@TreCoolfan1554 Oh i get what u mean, and i agree with looking past the music, because he does talk about his life, emotions, experiences, etc. but thats NOT the part i think is bad. i love that. ronnie has always been good at creating lyrics. and hes my favorite song writer. but the part i dislike, is the fact that Ronnies songs arent the same anymore. he used to do alot of posthardcore songs, along with a few regular rock songs, and i loved them because not only are the lyrics and meanings
