Loved this final house, so much character and offers much outside..especially the walled garden. For six bedrooms all en-suite, as they mentioned, they would need a higher budget. A delightful couple.
Sure would like to know if they bought one or decided to stay in France. They were incredible homes and they certainly could afford to add on suites to the bedrooms, reducing the amount of them..did enjoy this couple....
This couple baffled me. She mentions "sons and daughters" so they must have at least four adult offspring, but how often would those families be visiting? Then I thought they must be in the B&B business, but no mention of that was made. Owning for owning's sake? They seem too nice to be that silly. So in the end I figured that this is all about investment, and that's why they keep buying and selling properties in fairly short order. They don't expect to ever fill those rooms.
Considering how old this episode is, its shocking that they were shown houses that didn't look to be worth the asking price and in need of such costly renovations
Wish we had historical houses such as these in Australia. We have a pathetic history and in the past, until heritage listing was established, all our historic houses from the 1800's were knocked down for land value.
None of them blew me away for big budget estates, though I love old houses. Probably liked the Georgian house best but so many extra buildings. Not many en suites in the bunch. That will be a trick to find in an giant old house. And most of those bedrooms did not have room for en suites to be added. Can’t believe they want to do work on a big house at this stage.
As usual the presenter seems to think that the potential buyers give a damn what he thinks. So sick of his laugh. The customers...classic uptight, tense and boring So glad I left GB.
I view the couple as youthful, fun and he's quite spunky❤. The host in my opinion is a great host. Shows the property and points out things they may not notice or think of. A wonderful program if only we knew what they eventually bought.
