Thank you for this, I found it very helpful. Your honesty is refreshing. Your art wall is awesome. My problem is that I vastly overestimate how long things will take and this leads to procrastinate. Not surprised everyone at work likes you. You would be a great friend and if you ever thought about a role as a counsellor or therapist, you would be excellent.
I can't tell you how much I relate to everything you're going through. I suffer from depressive episodes as well and when they happen I just shut down. Nothing gets done because I have no energy to do anything. I sleep all day, eat everything quick and unhealthy. And I avoid taking care of my hygiene completely. I also totally get cleaning as a form of self care and regaining control after life turns to shit. I hope the rest of December and especially next year is better for you. Try not to beat yourself up too much, you're doing great by tackling the little things!
Oh I feel you on this. I've had two friends lose their jobs this past month. It was kind of a hidden blessing in their case cuz their jobs were so bad for their mental/physical health and growth. But other than that completely agree on the "cleaning environment because it's the only thing I can control" during depressive episodes. You did a far better job with that wave of action though lol. I think you are doing amazing by caring for yourself and breaking bad habits. I hope 2019 treats you better~
I am so sorry that December was so bad. But you are impressively brave and strong - even if you don‘t feel it all the Time! Let‘s hope that 2019 will be better!
It was a dark place that got you hear but I am happy you have been able to constructively and actively face it. Know you have done it before only highlights you can always do it again!
Your teeth are looking great! And your eyes are stunning. You’ll make it past this. This stuff is only serving to make you stronger, and teach you a few lessons. You fell back again so that you can truly appreciate how far you’ve come. You’re so strong and you are making crazy good progress in life. Don’t let a few set backs throw out all of your hard work. You’ve got this buttercup
It sounds like you were demoted because you got hit by a bike. It's illegal for an employer to penalize you for health problems, even if they do not give you sick pay. They cannot demote you, fire you, or otherwise reprimand you. You have the right to recover and get your job back (or equivalent), as long as you informed them of your ailments, which should have prompted them to have you submit a family and medical leave protection. If you were physically or emotionally damaged by the incident, and your employer knew, then you have a claim against them. I would contact a pro hono lawyer or state agency.
I’m really empathetic to your situation at the mo, if it helps you with self care etc, feel free to use vlogs and us subscribers as your unofficial accountability partners. Edit - PS the room looks fab, you kicked @ss!
i hope you don’t take offense to me asking, but would you be ok if I prayed for you? I’m so sorry that life sucks right now. Sending love and light your way ❤️
