Loveee thrift shopping. That last point "buy only what you need" is literally the hardest thing though because I'm a sucker for old things, antiques, and abandoned momentoes and stuffed animals. ;_; But always find great items. Also, though not a thrift shop I do shop at a consignment shop where I can get extremely high-quality clothes (yes even high-end brands like Prada) at like a quarter of the price. Only saying this because if you have the money, its better to invest in less but higher quality clothes for your capsule wardrobe than paying for fast fashion items that disolve in the wash and have to be replaced anyway. It's also supporting a local business as well.
I love thrift shops! In case no one knew said anything about the scissors yet here's what I do. Go outside find a curb or stoop and sharpen those scissors. I do it all the time.
I'd love to go thrift shopping. Sadly, in Germany we only have pretty lame second hand shops, that sell mostly just designer clothes. And these are still freaking expensive. Buying second hand doesn't have the best reputation here...
Try cutting crunched up aluminum foil with scissors to sharpen them. A good "hack" channel i found on YT is " 5-minute Crafts. Lots of good hack tips. Hope this helps! Love your channel! Very inspiring!
highkey gonna pick up that punch nazis hat when you list it omg. I live in a bigger city but I've noticed for large metro areas sometimes suburbs can be better due to the fad of thrift stores in metro areas with more millennial being more picked over. yeah just look everywhere! personally my specialty for thrifted finds is shoes? I've been able to find mint condish birks, toms, keds, dr.martens, for CHEEP CHEEP BEACH hell yes.
We ❤️ Salvation Army! Best Find: A pair of low-top Converse All Stars for $.50! We had stopped in SA on the way to Mall (Which I don’t like for *Multiple* reasons...) and was going to buy a pair in a different color. Then, I saw them (Black) and literally screamed! I almost got kicked out for scaring a few Elderly people, but Thankfully I wasn’t, lol. 🤣🤣🤣
Funny video we really should thrift more but in Germany the thrift stores suck a little. But really, 'punch a nazi'? Do you really condone violence against someone because you disagree with them politically? To me thats a no no and a slippery slope. Have a great day.
