The heat and humidity have made working on our sheep farm and getting haying and cropping done next to impossible for the last month. Crops are finally in, but we're planted very late. The big issue is trying to get the first-cut hay harvested so we can get second-cut regrowth. But pop-up thunderstorms like in this video make haying impossible. After several days of sweating it out, we decided to head out on a road trip to the lake in the Picton, Ontario area, where we hope to at least find cooling breezes off the lake!
