You can help my elderly neighbors who lost everything here... gf.me/u/yx48fq This video is a timeline showing the explosion of a wildfire that traveled miles and burned well over 100,000 acres but stopped 100' short of my house!
I think owning an RV for situations like this is genius. Evacuated? No problem hook up the RV. House remodeling? No problem sleep in the RV. Visiting family out of town? No need for a hotel hook up the RV. Genius.
In the morning, WA state is full of what looks like smoke, and is not fog, but has no smell other than a faint chemical smell. Hours after people were posting about this odd phenomena, a fire smell began to appear, as if in response. I think they are using the real fires they started, as a cover for airial night spraying in other areas, as in Kim Trallis.
I’m from Australia so understand what it is like when fires take hold. Our heart goes out to you all. We hope that above everything you stay safe. Good luck to all in the fires path.
Erin Fisher sorry it happened to you. Things can only get better from this point. In a few weeks, I’m going to take a drive over there to see if my mom and dad’s old house is still there. My brother said the price of construction just jumped 50%. Sounds like price gouging to me. Probably should rebuild with Adair homes and try to ship in lumber from Eastern Oregon or Idaho. Might be wise to go outside Lincoln county for a contractor. There is one contractor there I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole. Wish you well. Hang in there.
This is such a tragic time, heartbreaking. May all living beings affected find safety, have the help they need and be restored. Thanks for sharing the reality of it. So much loss-so sad 😢
If you are reading this, stay strong, healthy, safe, and don't lose hope. We will overcome 2020's adversities soon with kindness, resilience and resistance. During these dark times there is always hope in the middle of the fear. There are good news: God promises to be with you because he loves you. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16. I just want to let everyone know that Jesus loves you with a passion more than you can imagine. Its never too late in this life to put your trust in him. Cast all your burdens on Jesus because he cares for you. If you've got pain He's a pain taker If you feel lost He's a way maker If you need freedom or saving He's a prison-shaking Savior If you've got chains He's a chain breaker. Don't let your heart be troubled in these times. I wish you the best day.
Amazing footage. Thanks for sharing. How unbelievable that must have felt to see your neighbors place then your standing up. All the best to you from Portland.
This is just so heartbreaking to watch! God Bless everyone in Oregon and California! Please stay safe, remember your life is more important than ANYTHING you can lose in a fire! Materials can be replaced! I’m glad you didn’t lose your home though.
What is heartbreaking??? that some houses are burned? and all the pine trees are still standing green and strond knowing that the pine trees is the highest flammable tree in the world burning down in seconds when amber is touching one single needle??? WAKE UP THIS IS DONE ON PURPOSE.
bob lindstrom 4- Looters come in during evacuation and even when the orders have been lifted. It has happened here in Calif. every year in Sonoma County, Calif.

Insane, insane... absolutely insane. I've never seen anything move faster than a mega fire. You blink, and the flames are suddenly right in front of you. It is terrifying to me
Aw it’s so awful watching every home down your street burnt , I’m sorry to all of you who lost homes and belongings and the wildlife animals who lost their homes too, the holy fire was in my city and spread like crazy(CA) I know what it’s like to be near a fire I’m glad u guys evacuated and that your home is safe please don’t breathe in the emburs/ash
@@JW-bx8ih There is no such thing lol. A person with a blowtorch cannot do this, these fires are burning millions of acres in a few weeks and you have no concept of reality.
@@JW-bx8ih You still dont comprehend what Im saying to you. It doesnt matter if there are videos of 1000 paid professional arsonists, they cannot suck the water from the land and blow up the wind and cause something like this lol. Not any more than we can fight it once its started. It doesnt matter who you hate or which side you are on, when it comes to mother nature we are all pissing in the wind.
Keep your head on a swivel if you go back up, my friend. "Stuff" is falling down all over. Remember that they're just things, and can be replaced. I'm down near Medford, and it's pretty intense down here as well. We lost 600+ homes and 100+ businesses in the 2 fires down here. We'll get through it. May God bless you and yours.

@@cripesalmighty4744 Having been through a house fire that destroyed everything, it truly is just stuff. Making sure your family and pets are safe is number one. It sucks to lose personal items, pictures, etc, but your loved ones are what counts. Even through the massive hassle of replacing stuff, you continue to count your blessings that your family and pets are okay.
Praying for all of you in Oregon my son is in Beaverton and I'm in California we have fires here as well this is devastating and unimaginable May God help you and comfort you n those that lost their homes but what matters the most is life God bless 🛐🙏 I'M PRAYING FOR RAIN 🌧️💧
@Ruready4jesus?, I’m on the east coast so I don’t know, but I had heard that you’re supposed to get some rain today. I hope you are all safe and get enough rain to help put these fires out. God bless you and give you all strength. (I’m ready4jesus 🙂)
Wow, that was a really well done video. Thank you for sharing your story. It shows in detail how devastating these wildfires are. I’m sorry about your outbuildings, but am happy you and your family and your house are safe. Best wishes from a fellow Oregonian.
Having dodged 3 huge fires in 3 years here in Northern California.. I’m heartbroken for everybody and every critter that’s been effected. Please be safe and know that their are countless people who sending prayers to you all as well as our hero’s battling the flames. Please stay safe! 💞
karraripapi My 83 year old Mom has lived with my husband & I for many years. We have survived without gas and electricity for weeks, the evacuations, the smoky air, the house being very very cold. But to move Mom away from the rest of our family here in town.. We don’t feel Mom would do well and she has made it very clear this last fire that we are ALL going to stick together no matter what happens. She is only about 4’9” and maybe 120 lbs but definitely keeps our family together in every wonderful way you can think of. Between you & I, I think living next door to a firefighter and having 2 city police officers as neighbors as well, gives her confidence that our home will be protected from the flames if needed! 🤷🏻♀️😂 💞
Toni Richardson Yeah don’t move mom. Anywhere we go in the entire world, it’s got its own natural disaster potential. I’ve always wondered though how Floridians can deal with hurricanes every year and many causing excessive damage in the same areas year after year. But home is home. They probably think I am crazy living the in Western Oregon where it rains constantly for 9 months out of the year! Now we have fires on top of it... hey wait... I should move to Florida!
Very glad to see how it turned out for you and yours. That last mile on the way in must have been agonizing. Thank you for taking the time for the update video.
Having only recently experienced devisating bushfires in Eastern Australia, I have feel for all those currently being effected by these fires. I hope all effected are as safe as possible. Buildings and possesions can be replaced, lives cant. Stay safe.
Army must take out those terrorists; such damage to nature is transforming earth in hell. Hope army start to kick the asses of those brainless "i dont care nature". Is a new form of terrorism no doubt.
You are blessed to have survived and your home intact. Looking at this as a survivalist, you did the right thing by getting the hell out first thing. Having an RV, probably stocked for your next camping trip, was a definite plus. Next best thing is everyone having a 'bug out bag' packed and ready to grab, throw in the car and run with or even better, kept in everyone's daily driven car. If everyone is at work, plan for known places to meet in case roads to home get blocked. Next tip: Treat the half-tank mark on your fuel gauge as 'empty' and fill up again so that you have at least a half tank of fuel in all your vehicles so that during events like this you have at least enough to hopefully get away without trying to find swamped gas stations (full of people running out of gas) if they are even open. When stuck in traffic, a long line of non moving cars, turn off your engine & patiently wait for the line to move again to not waste fuel sitting there. Probably hot & uncomfortable, but you won't be wasting fuel. Help your neighbors best you can to rebuild. survivingurbancrisis.wordpress.com/2016/09/22/a-little-hiccup-in-the-gas-supply/
So heartbreaking to see that many people lost their home, and some unfortunately lost loved ones. Glad that you and your family are safe, and your house has been saved. All my thoughts to people of Oregon
This is a new kind of terrorism; 100% real. They dont care nature... This is the result... Army must enter to take out those brainshit "i don care nature" people. Earth is transforming into hell.
Glad you and your family are safe. So sorry you have to go through this. Thank you for giving us a window into what it’s like dealing with a fire near your home.
Thank you so much for sharing. I’m happy your neighborhood all evacuated and are safe. I’m sorry for all of those countless people who lost their home and loved ones. This fire season has been absolutely insane. Stay well and safe.
I’m so sorry for your loss and trauma. Thank you for sharing this, it has put everything into perspective for me down here in Sacramento California. We’re complaining because we can’t go outside the air is hazardous and dangerous, but we won’t lose everything or be in danger. God Bless.
Oh man so happy your house was spared. I live across the river in Washington and the smoke is horrible. We are praying for the rain to come. Stay safe!
Thank you so much for sharing what has got to be the most horrible experience for you and your family. Your video really brings home whats happening with these fires.. I'm so sorry your community is going thru this.
Thanks for posting this. I'm glad you and your family have safe haven and once this passes can rebuild your life. The devastation is heartbreaking. Continue to take care of each other. From Washington State - S
OMG, so happy that you, your family and your home was saved! I’ve been praying for all in the people in danger from the wildfires. The firefighters did a great job saving so many homes!
@Fionabuster D. Everything you wrote is correct. I've watched Deborah Tavares video speak in Santa Rosa. I have a house there still. Now we live along the Russian River. The Meyers Fire & the Wallbridge Fire started two days after the dry Lightening had stopped. Our tiny town had a brush fire started by arson when we where under evacuation orders weeks after the fires broke out. It was quickly put out. We live in the Redwoods and we are having many types of animals hang around here during the night that we never saw before. Think of all the creatures, plants & trees being burnt up. Pure evil Agenda 21 & 30 is.
Your video has eased my mind about you and your family's safety. For those of us far away for such devastation we can only imagine what you and yours are going through. Stay safe both from the fire and from Covid.
This is so heartbreaking, I’m so glad your house is still there. I’m from the Caribbean and we’’ve never dealt with fires like these, so it is a scary thing. Be safe!
I am happy to see that you and your family came through this. I sit here tonight watching your video and smelling the smoke as I watch, we are not far from you, fire got to our area but never that close. It was still one of the most frightening nights of my life. Take Care.
So glad your house is still there! I lost my mountain town & every single thing my Son & I owned in 2003 to the Aspen Fire. The traum stays in your mind for decades, every time you see someone else, & all of the innocent wildlife go thru it.So Happy for you!
Glad to see that you are safe and well Jason. You were lucky, what was lost can be replaced. Keep well, wishing you and your family all the best in these trying times. From the UK 🇬🇧

Wow, I was on the edge of my seat when you were driving to check on your place! Prayers to you and your family and your neighbors. I have been following your channel for quite awhile. I was born and raised in Longview, Washington.
Wow. That is way too close. I’m glad you came through it and sorry to see your neighbors didn’t. Scary times. Stay safe. Be well and we’ll get through this craziness.
Thank you for your excellent timeline. All this is so unbelievable. So sad for all the losses in these states, yours and those around you. Our prayers are with all.
Wow that was to close. Prayers your way my friend. My heart hurts for those that have lost everything. Blessing my friend stay safe. Thanks for the update.
Man I feel for you guys, such a terrible situation, I am glad you are safe. Stay strong, I believe you can over come. Best wishes to you and your family!
Glad to see you still have your house! I'm in escrow on a place in Oregon City and I thought I was worried. Glad you and your family are okay, I'll be thinking about you
😔I'm truly sorry that you, your family and neighbors are going through this especially during a pandemic. My thoughts and prayers are with you all! I'm in Washington state and we are starting to get the plumes of smoke from fires in our state Oregon and Cali. 💜
So sad, I used to be a truck driver 2 years back and I loved going through Oregon especially the Cascades...so beautiful and calming out there. Brings about a sense of peace. God bless you and your family and everyone out there.
I'm glad to see you and your family and friends are safe. We will never forget how this feels and smells after the terrible fires in New South Wales this year...you never get used to it, even when we see fires nearby most years now. Hope you can get back home soon. Kiri.
thanks for sharing. I prayed and prayed for you and your family while watching this video. And cried when I saw your neighbors home. Please stay safe and know that our hearts and prayers are with you and all the fire victims. All will be okay -- I live in hurricane alley (Florida) and I know you will rebuild anything that is loss and BETTER
I am glad you and yours family are safe. I am sorry to say that was a great video, sorry in the sense that people you know lost so much. But the video shows the power and devastation of wild land fires.
Glad to hear that you and your family are safe. Material things can be replaced. I'm surprised that your neighbor's propane tanks didn't explode. Take care. Bill
Our thoughts & prayers are with you, your friends, neighbors & loved ones. May today be a better day for all of you! You are blessed the fire stopped so close to your house & you are blessed to still have your house. May God be with you during this trying time.
all the best from our family to yours, bro. we are in portland. smoke is crazy but nothing compared to what you're going through. thanks for sharing your story.
I'm so happy for your house being spared, and so so sad for the losses all around you. I lost mywhole life in a house fire two years ago. It's a nightmare story! It's hard torebound when everything you worked for just is gone in a minute! But we survived and recovery is a process. Prayers for all who lost their homes.
Thank you for sharing your personal story in such a straight forward way. You show what's really happening, facts, not sensationalized, so your story informs people. My heart goes out to all affected by the wildfires. Hopefully the rains come soon to help our firefighters. Stay safe💜
As you said at the a huge thanks to the people fighting these fires at the moment, your landscape has changed a lot but at least you and the family are safe and you can rebuild in my thoughts Jason and family.
As soon as I saw the fire around Estacada I was thinking about you. Glad you came out of it "OK" so far. Won't really be over until the rains really come back, lots of hot spots. Yeah the smoke really sucks, imagine what the wildland firefighters are dealing with. Stay safe. This is just incredible and not in a good way.
Ditto what the others are saying. A big thanks for taking the time to video, edit, and post...lots of work when you already have lots of work. Long form first person accounts puts the "life" to broadcast news. Take care, stay safe, and thank you!
Glad to hear you got your family out. Very sorry about the entire west coast. I hear people around here because we have wind and rain but hurricanes can't even come close to the devastation fire causes. God bless and best of luck. keep us informed of recovery efforts. Special thanks to all the emergency responders out there. At least that part of the govt. still works. Irwin Langewisch, Milford, Connecticut.
I’m sorry man, hope y’all stay safe. it’s been terrifying here in Oregon.. we had a fire near the Alsea here a few days ago and I was on the phone with my guy when he said the Fire up Pike in tillamook kicked off.. I heard the call go out on the scanners. It was crazy when everything went nearly black out at 12 in the afternoon.. hope we get the rain we seriously need soon. Stay safe!
I am so sorry for all your neighbors who lost their houses. This was a crazy two weeks. But this has been such a crazy year. And praise God that your house was saved. I hope and pray everything works out for you and your family.
This is weird. It's like I'm watching this video with smellavision. I'm literally sitting here in my house coughing, from the Archie Fire smoke. I smell like I've been down wind from a campfire for days on end. I'm only at a level 1 evacuation right now. So far, I'm luckier than so many. I'm so glad your house is okay and pray the fire doesn't flare back up.

Remember when one of those volcanoes erupted in the Philippines a while back right when the pandemic started they were advising to buy those masks to be able to breathe cleaner during those times.

So very sad but incredibly grateful your home is saved......I had such anxiety as you were driving down to your home....what a blessing for you. I am so very sorry for everyone that is going through this I cannot even imagine but the footage I see is just heartbreaking and truly frightening. Sending many prayers for everyone's safety and much needed peace during this.
