Good review. Both are great knives, but I give the nod to the Wolverine for the simple reason that the ESEE 6 failed the ferro rod test, while the Wolverine did not. And there's the fact that I love WTG, so there you go...😊

I really like tall saber grinds so the wolverine appealed to me right away. That particular ESEE model seems silly to me. Why have the handle transition right into the edge? That seems dangerous to me.
Great video! At 7:42 minutes you say that the convex edge and geometry of the Wolverine knife allows for greater ease in making feather sticks and sculptures. Could it be that the layer of paint on the Esee 6HM knife is what really makes these jobs inevitably difficult due to the friction that the paint causes?
