Xancudo is replacing my Izulla II for my EDC fixed blade . I carry Folders at work and Fixed blade when I'm not . Love this knife . It does everything I need it too . Huge fan of S35VN or 20CV . I do love 1095 but I'm around the water a lot and the SS makes more sense for my application.

Perfect! Can the clip be mounted for scout carry?

Yes it can, but you can only screw the back on with 2 of the 4 screws. It works well though and is still well attached.

How thick is it at the scales?

can you get this without the ugly handle scales? maybe a black micarta?

I sure wish I could get some nice micarta scales for this. I wish knifeconnection would make something for these.
