Lol. Yeah, we all have accents. It's the same with people who speak English as an additional language. It sounds different - though a native English speaker will usually still understand what is being said. Interestingly, some people are able to pull off speaking different languages while still sounding like a native speaker. It's cool that he speaks Haitian Kreyol. I wish I spoke more than one language.

Actually no, the way he did it is pretty good. They will understand by context. If he translates all he says to them they might have the tendency to get lazy because they already know that he will translate it. Like for example, i want to learn spanish, if im watching a movie in spanish and have the subtitles in english, im not really learning much, if that were the case a lot of use would already be speaking japanese and korean. So if i really want to learn, the subtitles must be in spanish too, that way i use the context of the image and associate them with the words, i learn more vocabularies that way, i hear the pronounciations, and i use image contents to give them meaning. Or to take a better example, a baby basically learns from context clues, u dont translate everything you say in baby language for them to learn. They learn by listening and putting the words that you say with the way that you act to give it meaning.
