This is a German metal band and they are just a bunch of fucking hilarious guys. It mixes the funny old school German techno style with metal, EDM and some 80s shit. Best song of the year, brilliant! Listening to the older stuff from them you will notice they did more heavy metal and harder rock in a kind of Linkin Park style. Amazing stuff. Make sure to watch MC Thunder, another hilarious video and song. (featuring a well known German Let's Player, which is also part of the dancing group at the end of Hypa Hypa)

I don't know if the heavy rock/linkin park thing is accurate. When they first started, they were already mixing metalcore with edm elements specifically in their self-titled debut EP. But yeah they deviated from that a bit and came back to it.

The best thing about EC is that they combine genres but never compromise any of them. So you get the hardest of EDM, and the most brutal breakdowns ever, and it all works perfectly.
